Originating from Colorado, MY BAD got his start in music production at the young age of 16. He immersed himself in the bass music world and made sure his name was known around the bass capital of the world, Denver. After making the move to Los Angeles, California is when things started to take off.

Quickly mastering the fine arts of music production, it was only a matter of time before people started to take notice. Drawing inspiration from iconic figures such as Zeds Dead and GRiZ, MY BAD has an ear for heavy, melodic driven basslines, crystal clear sound, and huge trunk rattling bass to top it all off. A sound so unique, that it has been noticed and played out by some of the biggest names in the scene. Supported and played out by The Chainsmokers, Excision, DIESEL, GRiZ, ARMNHMR, Adventure Club, Dabin, RL Grime, Jessica Audiffred, Level Up and many more.

With releases on esteemed labels such as Monstercat, Create, Tribal Trap and Subsidia, MY BAD has a strong career ahead of him. “Crazy For Falling” with ARIUS surpassed 3 million streams on Spotify and has over 500,000 plays on the music video on Youtube collectively. Self released “Delusions EP” in June 2021 gained over 1.5 million streams on Spotify through out the first couple months of release, and had gotten listed on multiple editorial playlists. 

Starting in 2024, MY BAD came out with a bang with his singles "Charged Up" and "Bring It Back" which signified his new sound and direction back to his roots. Having huge success with bootleg remixes, his Slander remix of "Wish I Could Forget" was played out at Bass Canyon, EDC Las Vegas, and many more festivals across the world. This led to doing an official remix for ARMNHMR's album song "I Miss You" which was released on Monstercat.

Through years of experience and residency in many states, his live performances consist of precision deck control alongside carefully chosen track selection that will leave you in awe. Showing no sign of stopping anytime soon, MY BAD hopes to cement his name within the music industry.

Cadence & Cause, is a new streaming web platform developed by Clayton Warwick (Co-Founder of The Music Ninja), and LRXD (Denver-based ad agency). The site pairs musicians and worthy causes together to raise money. Through this platform, musicians can develop highly engaging interactions with their fans with their personalized campaign page. By donating music, merchandise, memorabilia, and unique experiences, all of which their fans can purchase, they can truly make a difference to worthy causes the musician has chosen.

"black. was created by a group of friends who share both an immense passion for bass music and a desire to give back. Where some might look for opportunities to make profit for themselves, we aim to find ways in which we can provide for others. With the help of Cadence & Cause, each compilation released through black. will directly benefit those in need through partnerships with different charitable organizations. For a small (or large) donation you not only receive an entire compilation but also the peace of mind that just by sharing our passion for bass music you did your part in helping someone less fortunate. 

Donations from black. Vol. 3 will go to Give a Beat, a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst for social change by bridging global electronic dance music culture with youth and families impacted by incarceration. The money provided will help fund DJ workshops designed to promote self-confidence, empowerment, individuality, and healing from trauma. Many of the youth participants come from underserved communities that are grappling with poverty, crime and gang culture, over-policing, and incarceration of a family member. Expression through music and dance can foster positive connections and be a powerful force in inspiring a future that breaks the cycle of poverty and incarceration.
