Thomas Stieler is a house DJ and producer known for his passion and versatility. With over 15 years of experience, he has built a solid reputation for his skillful DJ sets and unique sound. Born in Saalfeld, East Germany, Thomas brings energy and appreciation for vinyl to every performance. As a DJ, he is known for his ability to read the crowd and seamlessly blend tracks, creating an electrifying atmosphere. His signature sound combines various facets of house music, from classic to techno-inspired. Thomas is also a proud representative of his East German roots, as a resident DJ at the Leipzig club Distillery and a member of the Paracou crew. On this week’s Source to Cycle, we welcome the dons of the deep, Mountain People.  Andre Schmid and Philippe Egger have been masters of the minimal deep house sound since 2006 with the release of the Mountain People project, but their collective history runs deep, with Andre behind the Rozzo pseudonym since 1994, and Philipe the man behind Serafin since the turn of the millennium.  As Mountian People, the duo have gelled together to produce some amazing house music on their Mountain People label, and also DJ together, including a spot at Ushuaia last Summer with Luciano.

Julian Perez was born in Valencia, Spain in 1982. There he developed a love for electronic music in the early 90's. Influenced by the old school house grooves, he shaped his style with Imports from Detroit, San Francisco and Chicago.

In the last couple of years, Perez has crafted some great music for labels like Leftroom, Lowpitch, Recycle and Frankfurt based Two.Birds Records, and last year joined Steve Lawler's VIVa Warriors crew, DJing at label showcases around London, Berlin, Switzerland, Miami, Ibiza... 

Julien currently runs the Fathers & Sons label, an underground house/techno vinyl-only label, already behind the new version of the classic 'Night Train' track and four other releases...
