Native Peruvian Matthew Lima is joining us for this biweekly edition of our Source to Cycle podcast series.  Matthew spent his formative years in Italy and was heavily influenced by the music and cultural scene eventually taking the stage at many of the top clubs all over the country in the early part of the decade. By 2014, his interest had expanded to the production side as well and started working in the studio in a collaboration with Neverdogs and Martin Patino but also began to play more broadly all over Europe and Asia. Matthew has launched his own party series “Naked Mind” based in Milano as well as founded a label Amazing Music Recordings. This mix was recorded just before Rona hit us. I met the promoter, Spencer Miles in Berlin while playing maybe one of the best sets of my life with David Muallem at Panorama Bar. Spencer played before us and stayed almost the entire 16 hours of our set. He told me about this little party he threw in Portland for 200 people and asked me to come so I did a few months later. The party was wild. Real. American. Leftists. Intellectual outsider shit and one of the best parties I’ve ever played in America. There was a giant Ouija board on the wall. It was a true freak out. This is part 2/2 of this mix. All vinyl and me playing some really freaky stuff... A-Z, here to there and a good portrayal of where I was musically before the world changed.
