Working hard and furiously since the later months of 2011 unbeknown to the public eye, the Brisbane boys of Caetera have defined and crafted their sound to which they believe will engrave them into the Metal scene.

In mid 2011 after the breakup of previous bands Adrian and Alex decided to get together once again and start writing. Within weeks of beginning the process they turned to long time friend and vocalist Phil O'Brien to fill the frontman position for what was becoming. The fourth member, Jackson Price, came into the lead guitarist role in mid 2012 completing the bands lineup.

With everything in place, the time had come to officially announce themselves to the metal scene. What better way to achieve that than to proudly sponsor Bloodline Festival 2013. With the band set to release their 2 track LP at Bloodline Festival 2013.

In 2013 Caetera sponsored local music festival Bloodline Festival. With the band set to release their 2 track demo which was recorded, mixed and mastered by Nathan Woodrow of Tall Poppy Productions.

After very positive feedback on their studio video for "Eviscerate" approached Dave Blackley of Her Name Is Murder Productions to film the music video to Caetera's 2nd track "Insania". The clip was filmed in early June 2013 and released soon after

Having the material for the Echelon Oblitus EP for quite some time, but being unable to find likeminded musicians to help them bring this project to life, Adrian Rosa on vocals and guitar and Jackson Price, also on guitar and filling in on bass, finally made it to the studio and recorded their debut EP at the end of 2016.

The band enlisted the help of Todd Hansen (King Parrot, The Berzerker) as a session musician for all drums and percussion on the album, 'Echelon Oblitus'. They recorded at Core studios on the Gold Coast with Nik Carpenter before the EP was sent to be mixed by Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh) and mastered by Alan Douches (West West Side Studios).

Since leaving the studio Caetera completed their search for a full band. The addition of these skilled musicians allowed the band to fully make the transition from a studio project to a live band.

Since then Caetera have come a long way. They have had the opportunity to play several shows around South East Queensland to hone their live act and 2017 is shaping up to be a massive year for the Brisbane four piece. They have already landed interstate supports with bands such as Hadal Maw and they have played on two huge Metal Of Honor festival lineups.
