Live and on record Phenomenal Creature connects with listeners through powerful vocals, melodies, harmonies and lyrics that capture the imagination. The songs are arranged with beautiful violins and cellos and rhythmic yet subtle guitars and drumming. The musicians have long experience from a wide range of musical backgrounds: from classical to electronic music and from progressive to punk and alt-rock.

Founded as a folk-punk duo in 2008 Phenomenal Creature has since grown into a five piece orchestra. During this time the band has had countless performances from tiny living rooms to big outdoor events. They have also released one full length album, two EPs, music videos and with the help of a successful crowdfunding campaign will release their second album in 2017.

During 2017 Phenomenal Creature will perform new songs from the upcoming album in various live venues around Europe and in Finland.

Malva perustettiin tammikuussa 2014, kun Juho ja Julia alkoivat yhdessä säveltää meneviä suomenkielisiä kantri/folk/pop -kappaleita. Duo on sen jälkeen kasvanut viisihenkiseksi yhtyeeksi.
