ZIMA is a Liverpool-based selector dedicated to bringing a playful atmosphere back to the dancefloor. 

From Balearic to Italo to the origins of Chicago House, her high-energy sets and mixes are rooted in raw disco grooves and deep cuts from the early 90’s rave scene. 

A core DJ with women’s and non-binary collective Sisu, ZIMA is passionate about exploring the history of marginalised people in the emergence of house music and wants to continue the legacy of providing an inclusive space for queer people and newcomers of all backgrounds to the scene. 

She has recently become a part of new community project, QueenswaY, aiming to connect female, LGBTQIA+ and non-binary artists from Birkenhead and Liverpool to celebrate Merseyside's talent as one unified whole.

The label aims to re-propose to the peeps, gems from the 70’s and 80’s with a modern and yet respectful touch.
The philosophy behind each physical record, synthesized also in its logo, is to use something that already exists and has its own nature, rearrange it, boost it up, and turn it into something new with a different character.

Just like a Caffè corretto, where the booze gives some strength and adds the extra flavor, we spice up tracks from back in the days with a little drums and synths power to heat your dancefloor up!
