Sometimes it seems almost effortlessly, how Rampa is not only detecting, but shaping the zeitgeist of clubsounds. The man has done it on various occasions. Not only that. In a no less unerring fashion he happens to find the best company to vocalize that very state of the art. It once again all comes together here on his „Les Gout“ EP. He’s teaming up with Chuala, a genre defying voice and brightly shining figure of all things contemporary, to lay down„Les Gout“, a track perfectly balancing groove, elegance and irresistible floor-appeal. In congenial addition, it also features features Keope on guitar. The tune already has become a much requested standout in Rampa’s sets, designated to become a standout in everybody else’s sets over the coming weeks and months.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future. One of the OG Defected House Masters, Dennis Ferrer’s relationship with the iconic London label is checkpointed by a vast number of innovative originals, guiding house through many eras from soul and gospel to Afro and techno. Now renowned as one of the instantly recognisable anthems of modern house and the Defected catalogue, ‘Hey Hey’ receives two Afro house remixes from Jack Back and Da Capo & Kitty Amor. One of electronic music’s most recognisable artists, David Guetta created the Jack Back alias to return to his house roots, releasing the chart-topping Defected hit ‘(It Happens) Sometimes’ in 2018.
