For their first installment, the Chateau Chépère crew brings a diverse EP by ambient house maestra Rai Scott.
Opening the EP is Logical Positivism, a deep, driving and cinematic nod to the forest dance floors of the late 90’s. On Track 4 Inspired, Rai brings the club in an introspective, melancholic mood with a slower, steady beat, rolling percussions while dreamy pads shroud the dancers. Picking up the pace is Open Your Eyes, a warm, bittersweet piece of house from from her own alter ego Serendipity. The club friendly 2021 rework shifts into an early morning vibe, while keeping it deep and moody. Closing out the EP is the title track Anahata Nada, a gorgeous, warm piece of ambient for the chill rooms.

For their second installment, the Chateau Chepere crew brings on board legendary producer Stephan Laubner under his STL moniker, with four time warping pieces of music. With his distinctive and intricate sonic palette, Laubner extracts from his hardware different musical colors and shapes to produce singular atmospheres. Opening up the EP is Fly Fly, an epic 11 min minimal house trip full of tension and excitement, followed by Eargrind, an eerie, laid back Detroit leaning ballad. On the flip is Light Up, a spaced out, playful and bittersweet number that will revitalize any hazy after-hours dancefloor. Closing up the EP is Unlike Dislike, a quirky, jacking and mischievous techno workout for the packed club. This diverse ep will pull the listeners and dancers into Laubner's multifaceted, low key but captivating universe.

Stephen and I recorded a chunk of this together a in Berlin, back when it was hot enough to sip delicious pink slushies outside Refuge Worldwide. During the show he lifts the lid on his Soft Spot for PC Music  and their affiliated artists, which is both fascinating and pretty oddball (a perfect Soft Spot combination). For the final 45, you’re treated to a more dancefloor focused selection of swinging 90s house and I open the show with downtempo pop and electronic.

Premiere: Paolo Mosca - Secret Nature

Eversines returns to Pieter Jansen's yeyeh/ninih platform with his second solo album, Dwang, an evocative sonic exploration of the themes of inner struggles and personal growth. Sequenced like a DJ set, Dwang traverses dreamy ambient, breaks, acid techno, and trance over four sides of vinyl, telling a compelling story about the peace we can find when we yield to a higher flow.

The track "Elev" by Eversines is an energetic and pulsating acid-infused breakbeat track. With its infectious beats and intricate melodies, the track is reminiscent of the electronic music of the late '90s and early '00s, when breakbeat and acid were at their peak. The track is characterized by its driving rhythm, intricate synths, and acid bassline, which create a hypnotic and almost trance-like atmosphere. Eversines has successfully blended the old-school acid sound with modern production techniques to create a track that is both nostalgic and fresh.
