Helena Sundin - Lifeguard

Cake on Cake is the band of Helena Gabrielsson with a little help of family and friends. 


Helena formed the band back in 2005 when she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Umeå. Small experimental pieces of sound, recorded in the art-studio, grew into popsongs.

After sending a demo by regular post to the small independent label Desolation Records, located in Richmond (Indiana), they released Cake on Cakes first album I See No Stars in 2005. Since then Cake on Cake has released three albums one EP and one remix-album. Helena has also been singing with other bands and has ocassionaly made songs for compilations. 

After 10 years of silence, the band is now recording music again.
