It's unpretentious techno in terms of complexity of rhythms, dreamlike or ambient abstraction, but sometimes less is more and in the case of CRISIS it works perfectly round between House, Techno, Rave & Breakbeat, the only thing guaranteed: It will always burn the dancefloor.

The story goes that the BFC were huddled up drinking a communal slab of 8% Cody’s on a bitterly cold Ōtautahi winters afternoon watching a young in-form Shaun Johnson absolutely tear the Sydney Roosters defence to shreds with his electric “footwork” - when Mushmane screamed out “LOOK AT THE FOOTMAHI” changing the course of BFC history forever all in the birthplace of The Big Fresh Collective; The Parage on 40A Richill Street, Belfast, Ōtautahi.
