A malevolent obscurity is followed by a sentimental melancholy drifting towards a deep journey into the introspection and the subconscious. It constantly emerges into the horrific and ritualistic soundscape of cryptic techno, of ancient tribal images, and of industrial dystopian visions, all melancholy is then shattered for having embraced evilness.
Giuseppe Sciretti, better known as Nigh/T\mare Alias, is an Italian DJ, producer, and live performer who is based in Puglia (South Italy). In 2017, he released a solo EP on the Bulgarian label DVNTT, and the following year, he made his vinyl debut with "Hypnagogia" on Thrènes records after also releasing music on labels like Voidance, Depth Request, and Borders Of Known. Blame Rec, VuMantra... in 2021, he released his first 2x12" album, "Katharsis," on the label that is now called Thrènes, and in 2022, he released "Ceremony" on Forbidden Teachings, which led to numerous collaborations with international musicians like Pact Infernal, Torn Relics, Alexey Volkow, LAIR, Prophàn, Killawatt, and many others.

Dalmata Daniel is thrilled to release Redate IV, the latest chapter from our beloved synth jam mastermind J. Mono’s series of archival gems. This album brings together twelve previously unreleased tracks from 2014-2015, showcasing his playful, melodic style across electro, acid, and IDM landscapes with his signature uptempo beats, along with a few more downtempo tracks in this selection .

Alongside the digital release, a limited-edition cassette (60 copies) includes a 39-minute excerpt from J. Mono’s latest live set at the Dalmata Daniel & MMN showcase in 2020, held just days before lockdowns transformed live music. With cover art by Studio Jetski, this cassette captures both the crafted intensity of J. Mono’s studio work and the raw energy of his live performances.

We’re kicking off the new year with the debut self-release from Melbourne-based artist Fefe, whose seven-track mini-LP, Sketches from Memories, drops in just a few days. This release is a reflection of Fefe’s creative journey over the past five years, capturing the evolution of his sound through a thoughtful collection of tracks.
Our premiere today, Ghost Gum, is an evocative piece that blends gentle, textured percussion with earthy synth tones and a haunting saxophone melody. The track conjures the imagery of a ritualistic dance deep within a forest, brimming with otherworldly energy.
Sketches from Memories will be available on Bandcamp starting January 15th.

A year after his first release on the label, German deepsmith Sven Weisemann is back with a sophomore effort entitled Separate Paths. Down for his moody outings on labels like Mojuba and Telrae, this new four track affair continues to mark out the man behind it as a master of atmosphere. 

'Dopamine Antagonist' is way below the surface, with soft drums encouraging you to get loose as radiant pads smear and stretch in all directions. The groove seems to float in mid air and subtle melodies drift by like half remembered thoughts. 'Cascading Lights' is another warmed and dubbed out affair, but this time with a gentle electro lilt that is filled with the promise of an early morning walk on a spring day. Exquisite synth work makes it an emotional affair, but then 'Maori Octopus' drops back down into a reserved and insular dub techno groove that is delicately detailed with little rays of light, watery ripples and tiny traces of electricity. Head music that also makes your body move, the EP closes with 'Separate Paths', a nearly beatless, slow motion affair that suspends you in an underwater cave and showcases Sven's knack for intricate and cinematic sound design. It may only be four tracks long, but this EP truly takes you on a journey somewhere far away from this world.
