Angel

I'm reassured in a small way
by the sound of raindrops falling 
as I lay here in my bed.

They come down as they do,
countless tiny Angels
down from heaven.

Without wings these 
Angels bring,
the gift of sweetly shattering 
on everything they touch.

So radiant 
still when they land,
they're only here to change 
my plans and save me 
from myself.
A tragedy that I avoid 
damn I really could have died 
you saved me!

They turn sunlight into rainbows everyone of them 
reflect the setting sun.
