We are an Anglican church that meets in the heart of the Uptown Neighborhood in Chicago.  Anglican churches draw upon the ancient practices of Christianity in a way that all people can understand and participate.  Our purpose in Chicago is to lift high the Son of God, that all in the city may be drawn to Him.  We are committed to displaying the truth, beauty and goodness of Jesus Christ for the people of Uptown and Chicago.

The heart of Church of the Resurrection is to build a Sanctuary of Transformation: a safe place where men, women, youth, and children meet Christ and are changed into his image.

Church of the Resurrection is a liturgical church of the Anglican tradition; we are affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). Our Sunday morning services incorporate a blend of three great traditions: Anglican liturgy, charismatic worship, and evangelical preaching. Each service includes prayers, Bible readings, a sermon, Communion, and singing. We exist to serve the Lord, the Lost, and the Least in our community.
