Let's dive into this late September podcast, and yes, of course it had to be him this month. Give it up for the Polish & Warsaw-based: Sept (@septonly).

Techno is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Sept. He has been always far away from the mainstream beats. His DJ sets and live acts are a musical trip, and his sound has continuously evolved, always staying true to his Techno roots. In addition, Sept shows a broad delicate mixture of darkness and light, creating a sonic musical journey that took him to play in the most respected clubs around Europe and South America...

In 2015, the ball started rolling when he was involved in the organization of the "Lost Pool" parties located in an abandoned pool area. Later on, in 2016, he started co-organizing an event series called "Bóg Jest w Techno" (eng. The God Is In Techno @bogjestwtechno) which hosted names like Ansome (@myansome), Perc (@perc), Regal (@regalmusic), Boston 168 (boston-168), stranger (@whoisstranger), P.E.A.R.L. (@p-e-a-r-l), Kangding Ray (@kangding-ray), Ossian (@ossianuk), Remco Beekwilder (@remco-beekwilder) & SNTS (@sntsrecords).

Production-wise Sept has been releasing on respected Techno labels since 2015, being "Path EP" his first release on Voxnox Records (@voxnoxberlin). He also released two EPs in 2016, Runaway 27 on Flash Recordings (@flash-recordings) and Artefakkt (@artefakktmusik) on Sonntag Morgen Records (@sonntag-morgen-rec).

Furthermore, Sept has been showing his broad spectrum of sounds in clubs like Griessmuehle (Berlin, now @revier_suedost), Rote Sonne (Germany, @rotesonne) and Myst Warehouse (France).

His sounds have been published on greatly respected podcasts like Reclaim Your City (@reclaim-your-city), Slam Radio (@paragraph), The Brvtalist (@thebrvtalistxx), Synoid (@synoidberlin), HATE (@hate_music), The Forgotten (@theforgottenrec), Monument (@monument-podcast) & Oecus (@oecusmusic).

Kostas aka @againstmesc is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer & co-founder of SOCIETY 3000 and core member of USM Recordings.

The project “AgainstMe” started back in 2017 on his home island Lesvos, Greece and it stands for the continuous fight with ourselves to align our inner voice with our soul and beliefs.

In 2014, at the age of 16 years old, he first discovered his passion for DJing and producing and he did his first steps into the music industry under a different alias in a wider range of electronic music. His music has been released on different labels around the world, but as he was at a very young age, he was still discovering his self and what style of music expresses him the most.

The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece.  For him at that point, techno music was something completely new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced before. The distorted melodies and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of these parties made him immediately fall in love with everything around this sound and what it stands for.
 
Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world. Some of the most important releases during the last years were, his album “Synopsis” in Subsist, “Tension Seeker” in Warok and "Defend" In VOXNOX.

He already enjoyed support from artists like Dax J, DVS1, Rodhad, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, Temudo, Kanding Ray and many more.

For him, the absolute goal of a DJ  is to connect with the crowd and build a unique moment together. So his sound could be characterized as multidimensional, energetic and storytelling. Some of the venues/parties he performed at are RSO, Corsica Studios, QRECLAIM, Astron Bar.

Currently, he is experimenting a lot with Modular Systems and unorthodox techniques in his studio in Berlin.

Dilemma Podcast 127 Lucyd from Wroclaw (Poland). @Lucyd_official a techno DJ and producer originating from Bulgaria, but currently based in Poland. With a passion for electronic music, she has quickly made a name for herself in the industry. She is known for her unique sound that blends deep, hypnotic beats with raw energy and emotion. Her releases also have appeared on MOTZ, HATE channel, Lost in Ether and Polish technology showcasing her unique style and skill as a producer.

Lucyd's music is pushing boundaries and exploring new frontiers in sound. She is a co-owner of Calosc label, which is known for its innovative and experimental approach to techno music.

Lucyd's passion for electronic music extends beyond her own productions. 
In addition she has worked as audio engineer in theaters and gaming studios around Europe, lending her expertise to create immersive soundscapes and sound effects. She is organizer of Aymon festival in Bulgaria, which brings together enthusiasts from around the world. 

With a devoted following of fans, Lucyd has performed at some of the most renowned techno clubs in Poland, Berlin and festivals across Europe, captivating audiences with her dynamic mixes and captivating stage presence. Her music is a reflection of her unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of techno and taking audiences on a sonic journey into the future.

Born in Ukraine and raised in the Netherlands, Illiya is an artist heavily inspired by the quintessential sound that characterized techno in the early to mid-2000s. Illiya’s productions present driving, mechanical, and saturated grooves within the framework of modern techno. 

The juxtaposition between the past and present is evident in his workflow. He uses classic hardware such as Roland’s 303 and Mackie mixers to carve his unique sound, often recognizable by warm, analog-laced drums and textured atmospheres. Illiya continues to innovate as an artist, bringing a fresh, immersive depth to his productions and DJ sets.

Expect a journey exploring the darker edges of techno.

Hi everyone, I'm Ramalho and the eighty-first edition of the Vørtice Pødcast is starting.

My guest for this edition has had contact with music since she was a child, and over the years she has perfected it and been part of rock bands in the city of Curitiba. 

But it was electronic music that sparked an unparalleled passion and made this talented artist enter the market as one of the most promising DJs and Producers in the Brazilian Techno scene. 

It is with great pleasure that I present Betriza, a complete artist who has already been recognized by big names in the national and international electronic scene.

1. Origin and Initial Training: Betriza was born in Rio de Janeiro. She lived in a boarding school from the age of 10 to 16 in the south of the country, where she had her first contact with music in the church choir and orchestra, experimenting with instruments such as trumpet and percussion. Contrary to the influences she received, Betriza fell in love with rock music, learned to play the guitar on her own and, during her teenage years, became a guitarist and bassist for bands in Curitiba, where she regularly performed in gigs in the basements.

2. Transition to Electronic Music: In 2018, Betriza fell in love with electronic music during her first time at a festival, Tribaltech, and decided to return to music in a different format. He joined the Yellow DJ Academy mixing academy and soon after moved to São Paulo.

3. Choosing Techno: Of all the possibilities, the choice for Techno was organic, as it was where Betriza found her best version as an artist. Techno gave her the depth of sound and energy she needed to express herself fully.

4. Emergence on the Underground Scene: In 2022, Betriza emerged as a leading figure on the Brazilian underground scene, consolidating her reputation as a rising Techno talent in Brazil. Recognized for her remarkable sound versatility and charisma, her performances are charged with energy.

5. Collaborations with Renowned Artists: Betriza has shared booths with artists such as Indira Paganotto, Adiel, Lilly Palmer, Setaoc Mass, DJ Murphy, Salata, Ratier and Eli Iwasa, resulting in exciting moments at prestigious venues such as D-EDGE [SP], Vibe Club [CWB], and Caos [Campinas]. She has participated in independent parties such as Techno Route [SP] and Hail The Light [SP]. She is part of the select Essential Artists agency.

6. Launch of her label RawTech Nation Records: Co-founder and curator of the RawTech Nation Records label, Betriza demonstrates her commitment to the development and promotion of the underground scene in the country. Founded in April 2023 by her and artist Bllack Rose, RawTech Nation Records is focused on Techno Raw/Deep/Hypnotic, emerging as a catalyst for established and emerging artists in Brazil.

7. Music Releases: In 2023, Betriza made his first release on his RawTech Nation Records label VA with the track “We Used to Be Friends (Original Mix)”, which was supported by Argentinian DJ and producer Flug. His next release is scheduled for August 2024, featuring three important tracks for his career.

Betriza continues to expand his impact on the Techno scene, with electrifying performances and an unwavering dedication to his growth and the evolution of electronic music in Brazil.
