Ultimae proudly presents "Gneiss", a first solo EP on the label for Danish composer Tore Kofod Hyldahl aka Erot after his participation on Martin Nonstatic's "Granite Remixes" and releases on labels such as Iboga Records, Altar and Fallen Metropolis.

The emotive and abstract musical tale invites the listener to escape perception, understanding and apprehend the vast of music, of nature, time and space. Grounded yet floating freely, the chiselled rhythms and the evanescent pads create the cradle of contrasts in which one can let himself be lulled and carried away on a deep and delicate journey. Erot welcomes aboard space ambient and downtempo initiates Henrik Rolsted Laugesen and Vincent Villuis, respectively known as Lauge and AES Dana to fuel the experience with extra cinematic atmospheres and beats.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

The sound designer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Sérgio Walgood, is a well known name in the worldwide chillout music scene Music producer and DJ with 15 self releases and tracks on many compilations around the globe.

Walgood currently develops projects that involve chillout, techno and psytrance music. He is one of the magicians behind the band OCO and also runs the projects Random Mode, Angular Momentum and coordinates the acclaimed Chillout Stage of the ZNA Gathering Festival.

Amritone is a chillout project created by Alexander Zhikharev, an experienced electronic music artist also known for his other projects: Parallax Breakz, Para-Dise, Tandavibe, Infuzoria, IBS Faction, Sunsound Space. In his work, Alexander experiments in various psychedelic music genres such as psychill, psybass, dubstep, progressive breaks, ambient.

O is the sixth album by Amritone. It is a splendid blend of electronic music styles, full of the author's bold experiments in rhythmic and harmonic forms, and yet it maintains crystal sound transparency. Psybass and drum-n-bass percussions and bass lines are skilfully woven into the sound textures of psychill and ambient. Each track of the album represents a story of its own. Valentin Santana a multi instrumentalist with focus on tribal percussion, voice and classical violin since the age of five. Drawing upon numerous traditions of sound healing he transfuses the ancient sacred sounds of indigenous tribal cultures with brain entrainment frequencies found through modern day scientific breakthroughs to be healing and beneficial to the body.
He has studied continuously throughout his life with private teachers, orchestras with countless summer attendance at conservatory. Valentin holds a degree and multiple certifications in
Audio Recording/Production, Sound Healing and Energy Therapies.
