Conceived by four friends on the sandy shores of California, Soul Majestic channels their sunny beach days and bonfire nights into their unique brand of reggae music. But look beyond their laid back vibe, and you’ll find they are ever pushing the boundaries of the genre with an edge that cuts through the smoky haze. Their music blends their deep commitment to roots reggae with their love of rock, hip-hop, pop and folk music. This is reggae, yet it’s original–a new twist on familiar sounds–with heartfelt messages and a high-performance band that will have you waiting for what comes next. Their signature sound features male and female singers trading melodies and soaring harmonies, laced with edgy dancehall and crowd hyping verses, epic lead guitar solos over a wide range of tight danceable beats with rock flourishes, heavy-dub interludes and memorable hooks that will captivate and move you to dance.

With a resume that includes recording with some of the greatest legends in the business (such as Sly and Robbie), sharing festival stages with the likes of Rebelution, Matisyahu, Sean Paul, and Damian Marley (to name a few), and extensive touring of North America both headlining and as a support act for Anthony B, Soul Majestic has managed to amass a worldwide fan base. They have journeyed together through many adventures and growth opportunities in their career, from a pilgrimage to Jamaica to record their second album “Until that Day” at Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Studio, to touring Canada in support of their third album, “Better World” (which received an award for Galaxy Radio Canada’s top 10 international reggae albums of the year). Through it all they have maintained a strong unity and drive to continue to do what they love most: uplifting people through music!

Since the successful crowd funding campaign that fueled the recording of their fourth album “Setting the Tone” in 2014 and the construction of their own studio and production lab, Soul Majestic has arrived at their highest peak of live performance, songwriting and musical creation yet. The recent album landed on the iTunes top reggae charts and was submitted by industry insiders for the 2015 GRAMMY Reggae Album of the Year! 

Following their #RoadToCaliRoots Spring Tour, a run of shows that included Lucidity Festival, Santa Barbara Earthday, and the 2015 California Roots Festival, they are channeling the energy and momentum they have been building into the studio, with a fifth album entitled "Pass It Around" to be released in February 2016. To promote the album they are releasing one single per month with accompanying music videos through Fall 2015 as a part of their #songamonth campaign. With more shows coming up in late summer/fall of 2015, Soul Majestic is one to keep on your don’t miss list!

Ineffable Music is an independent coalition of artists, managers and promoters that work together to curate music and live events across the world. With a diverse roster of bands, festivals and venues, Ineffable focuses on experiences and providing an outlet for artists to be heard. Founded in 2006, Ineffable Music is based in Oakland, California and has advocated for artists to maintain ownership and control of their music, including through interest free loans given out by Ineffable's charity arm, Rootfire Cooperative. Ineffable is proud to now curate a channel with Apple Music, and will use a plethora of creative outlets to produce playlists for fans of music, roots and culture.

Happy Hour is a Santa Cruz based Positive Reggae Radio Show. We are LIVE every Wednesday from 1pm to 4pm. You can hear us LIVE by tuning in to our online stream. You can also hear every past show here on SoundCloud for streaming purposes. 

Every week we aim to shed light on local and world news, announcements, initiatives taking place; all positive. That is during the 1st hour. The second hour features nothing but the freshest of reggae tracks from ska to dub and dancehall to roots; tracks from artists all over the world with an emphasis on California and Jamaican roots reggae. The third and final hour of the show features a band or solo artist, we bring in a new act almost every week to do a LIVE studio session exclusive to Happy Hour.

Welcome to our Sailing La Vagabonde SoundCloud account! We’re Riley & Elayna, an Australian couple documenting our journey traveling the world by sail despite no previous sailing experience.

Since late 2014 we’ve been filming our adventures on YouTube full-time as we’ve crossed the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean, and Pacific Ocean.

We’ve suffered terrifying storms, pirate scares, financial breakdowns, equipment failures, water shortages, and other ‘interesting’ mishaps but we wouldn’t trade living on the Sea and traveling wherever the wind takes us for anything. Now we continue to share our adventure with the world. We're always looking to support new artists!

Regina Ferguson is an old soul for a new generation. A singer-songwriter based in Topanga Canyon, California, “she magically blends rock and roll with western music to create a distinct and original sound”. (LA Weekly) 

Regina is no stranger to the stage. After spending years dominating the scene in the low country of the Carolinas, she made the move to Los Angeles to immerse herself with industry talent. She has continuously evolved her style creating much anticipation for her debut album, Fortune, which is set to be released in June 2023. 

Fortune was recorded at Infinitespin Studio in Los Angeles with producer Matt Linesch. The entire album was recorded on a Studer 24-track tape machine and remained analog even through the mixing process. “It is the nostalgia of the old sound and the upbeat story-telling style that no music lover can resist”. (LA Weekly) Her ability to showcase her raw, powerful vocals and write music worthy of her all star studio band cannot be overlooked. Tracking live with the band in the studio gives her music a pulse that can only be achieved in this organic manner. Among others, Griffin Goldsmith (Dawes) and Brett Simons (Chicago) laid the foundation with Aaron Embry on piano/B3 and other various instruments and Ben Peeler on pedal steel and lap guitars, both of whom tour with Jacob Dylan. 

You can catch her fronting her five piece band frequently in Los Angeles and tour her new album upon its release.
