J and Montecristo took a drive to Huntington Beach from their LA studio. There, they met a couple of girls, set up a bonfire, started strumming on their guitars and working out the songs which will eventually end up on their EP. 
"Everything was so organic. We just sat under the stars with new friends singing and just talking about whatever came to our minds. There was fire, water, earth and wind. It felt so perfect." - J
That night ‘California Jones’ was formed.
