Hailing from a background of a diverse range of musical styles, My Gander developed her interest in electronic music during high school. The early and crude techno and trance sounds became an important foundation to her style. Cutting her teeth at venues, clubs and festivals in Stockholm before moving down south, her style as a DJ and producer is characterized by a raw soundscape and fast pace – yet with an inherent swing and vibrancy.

My is a part of the Copenhagen based crew BunkerBauer and holds the recurrent club event Pater Noster at Den Anden Side together with Matriark.

@marcomaldarella’s approach to electronic music is purely minimalistic, mixing essential elements of glitch catharsis with soothing post-tribe experiences. Within a hi-tech definition signature, he’s been assembling cosmic artefacts for @alkaanet, @axytmt and @emptysignaltransmission, collecting a series of tapes that are worth the sound-trip. Under MARMO’s duo he keeps the focus on holistic ambi-design, creating moments of deep self reflection and mutual improvisation.

In May, longtime Vief collaborator halle o’malley got in touch with an idea. She’d come across the Instagram of a 17-year old Palestinian musician called Samih, who’s life has been torn apart as a result of Israel's recent onslaught on the Gaza strip. Their home destroyed, Samih and his family were forced to flee to a refugee camp in Rafah. During their displacement, Samih has gone viral posting videos of himself singing and playing a borrowed oud.
 
Having spoken to Samih and received his blessing, Halle planned to sample a video of his and donate the proceeds from the sales of that track to a GoFundMe set up for him and his family. Halle approached the label with the idea of scaling this project up by inviting other producers to sample Samih themselves or provide original tracks of their own.
 
Madhoun now stands as a compilation containing four productions sampling Samih, an interlude, and nine other dance tracks generously donated by producers from across the world.

Né à Toulouse dans une famille passionnée de musique, GΛ:MΛ a grandi dans un environnement rythmé notamment par la house, le rock et la funk. Arrivé à son adolescence, il découvre la techno et construit son parcours autour de cet univers.
Ses études lui ont ensuite l'opportunité d'apprendre à mixer, et une chose en entraînant une autre, il créé son propre collectif (AAW) et commence à se produire un peu partout dans sa région. Aujourd'hui, il collabore avec un photographe pour développer d'autres aspects de sa vision artistique.
