@gredeson is a Berlin-based Swedish/Finnish artist-engineer whose work echoes the diverse genres he's experienced, from Montreal's eclectic scenes to the Berlin dance floors. Passionate about early trance, groovy techno, and hard house, he blends these genres to create a unique atmosphere for his audience.

"I am a DJ who is very passionate about the music and the scene around it. Being able to play the music that you love in front of people who also loves it gives you so much adrenaline. Over the years I have played many differnt styles, house, techhouse, dark techno, hard techno, trance and so on. The last year I have mostly played Groovy and hypnotic techno with elements of some trance now and then. I always want to play with a common thread in my sets that is clearly based on a genre with a lot of finesse sounds and heavy beats, together with happy vocals that adds the little extra in the mixes.

In this set I play mostly groovy and bouncy techno with several elements of some nice vocals. The set builds up nicely along the way with a fast-paced thread that moves towards a fun ending along with some great trance and house beats. I'd say this set is a pretty standard ITB style, I can play softer but I can also play faster depending on the environment and occasion. For this set I chose to go with this style to create a nice vibe and style so that you can listen to it whenever you feel for it during the day."

Interview with ITB:

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I fell for techno and underground music in 2016 and over the years it became such a big intresse, since then it has basicly been the only music I listen to. In 2019, I got some inspiration from two friends, (one of them was Mr. Bad Balance him self) 😎 to try and play on a DJ controller. I was hocked immedialtly and I bought my own DJ controller just 2 days after I played for the first time. I had a new hobby and with a lot of training and development it has taken me to become a real DJ which is so amazing. It has been my big dream since my great interest was found within this magical scene and I want to keep going and see how long I can go.

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Speedy, Groovy & Bouncy

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: I have had many great gigs both during 2023 and 2024, but last month I played in Copenhagen for the first time, and it was also at favorite club Den Anden Side, that was something else. So there is no competition, playing at Den anden side was insanse and definitely my highlight so far as a DJ!

Q: Your favorite track right now?
A: Right now my favorite track is "Big Boy" by DJ Swisherman, and it's in this mix, you'll hear it come around minute 22.

Q: A track you never get tired of?
A: Your Body (Isaiah) A track that makes me exited every time I listen to it, and it's a lot of fun to play it live in front of dancing people.

Q: Where can one find the best falafel in Malmö?
A: If I were to say a general place, I would say Värnhem's falafel, but the best falafel I've eaten is at my friend Marc Shankal's place. He makes the best falafel, I can promise that to everyone in Malmö!

Q: A Malmö DJ you want to highlight?
A: Don Woezik! Wow, that man is insane as a DJ and he is a big inspiration for me. He has done so much the last years from being a local Malmö DJ to play at big techno events around the world together with other big international DJs. Malmö Techno Tales Episode 25 - ITB

A long-time raver and producer who's been known to get on the mic, Big Lil's tracks & DJ sets are an ode to her time in the Prague techno scene. Inspired by Czech sound systems that introduced her to free rave culture and refined by time spent in the underground her style is fluid and her selection is hard, fast and funky with a playful flair.
