Dave Dinger zählt zu den prägenden Figuren des Berlin Nachtlebens und darüber hinaus. Als aktiver Mitgestalter der visuellen Ästhetik hat der Künstler maßgeblich dazu beigetragen, dass das Garbicz so wunderbar aussieht, wie es aussieht, und dass die Bachstelzen-Partys zum Sehnsuchtsort zahlreicher Musik- und Veranstaltungsliebhaber geworden sind. Sein Sound lebt teilweise von organischen Klängen, die oft im Einklang mit der Natur stehen. Die Kombination aus Ausgeglichenheit, Spannung und Ekstase beschreibt seinen Stil sehr genau.

✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore, Rock and everything else with heavy guitars in it :D

✔️What makes good "afterhour"?

Really good people around me, a Spezi and fresh socks!


✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

I'd say it's a 'classic Intaktogene set' - lots of basslines, lots of melodies, quite some vocals but always driving.  I play what I missed the most on dance floors. Music with melodies that touch the heart and a bassline finding it's way right into your bones. Making your feet move even if you're exhausted. 

✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded?

I love playing at Rote Dichte, it brings together so many different people and I have the sweetest encounters every time. Last year a couple came up to me saying in 25 years of raving they have never cried until my set because it touched them so much. They were there again this year and even brought me a little gift. HOW Sweet is that!

People feeling what I feel whilst I play means the most to me because first of all it's exactly what I try to do 'Musik mit Herz und Wumms' (Music with Heart & Oomph). Secondly - it's so special when there is a floor full of completely different people,  all feeling the same thing for one moment. If we had more of that in the world, many problems would be solved so much easier

What do you do with a talent for guitar, cello and the drums? You start playing techno!
Despite having different musical roots, Intaktogene accidentally found herself behind the turn tables. Just for fun. But fun turned into passion, and the Gods of techno had different plans.

Mir fehlen die Worte. 
Im Vorfeld zu wissen, man spielt nach @mira_kater ist schon krass. Aber dann tatsächlich auf der Bühne vor hunderten Menschen zu stehen und diese Menge zum Tanzen zu bringen, ist für meinen Verstand kaum zu verarbeiten.

Danke an jeden einzelnen Menschen! Egal ob Tänzer*innen, Crew oder Technik. Ihr habt mir eine Erfahrung geschenkt, die bleibt. Es wurde wieder was geschaffen, was einfach nur von einem anderen Planeten ist.

Only two weeks after closing down the Strand floor at Nation of Gondwana, I had the honor to do the same at Sisyphos. So immediately after the festival I started digging deep into the music again and found so many gems. And being the first rain free Sunday for a while, Sisyphos was packed with euphoric people from all over the world. A more than rewarding crowd. Thank you!

-Callhim Strange (eigentlich Robert) begann seine musikalische Laufbahn im Alter von 16 Jahren. Mit Fleiß und viel viel Übung auf Riemen betriebenden Reloop Plattenspielern, schaffte er es, bei einer Newcomer-Night im Jahre 2000 sein Können unter Beweis zu stellen. Von dort an legte er Vinyl in Clubs in Berlin, Brandenburg und Sachsen auf. 2005 beendete er, aus privaten und beruflichen Gründen, seine Laufbahn, vorerst.
Seit 2015 ist er wieder unterwegs, auf digitalen Wegen und mit neuem musikalischen Style. Von DeepHouse über klassischen House bis hin zu Electro ist es stets das Ziel, die Leute auf eine Reise mitzunehmen.
Engl: Callhim Strange aka Robert started djing at the age of 16 in 1999 and got his first chance in a club back in 2000. At that time he played vinyl in clubs in Berlin and Brandenburg till 2005.
After a 10 year break he came back in in 2015 on digital ways and with a new musical concept.
