Conceptually, the release meant to represent this joyful event, but with time it has acquired a different emotional imprint. Crossfade Sounds revisits Closing Cycles by Belgian duo Madloch & Subnode, inviting three distinctive artists to reimagine the track for a new EP. Originally featured in March 2025 as part of the label's first-ever physical release, the Tape From The Dub cassette compilation, the original stood out for its atmospheric depth and subtle melodic movement, reflecting the duo's inventive approach to electronic storytelling.

Now the piece returns in three unique reinterpretations from an international cast. Rheinkalk from Germany takes the track into deep experimental electronica, exploring texture and space in an abstract yet spellbinding way. Avid Sequence from Malta offers a fresh drum & bass perspective, injecting rhythm and fluid energy while keeping the emotional core intact. Closing the package, Deepdrome from South Korea crafts a finely tuned dub techno version, balancing hypnotic groove with warm, immersive sonics.

With these new remixes, Closing Cycles expands beyond its original form, bringing fresh dimensions to a work that has already become a special part of the Crossfade Sounds catalogue.
