We're excited to be back with a series of releases from the label's resident artists, starting with a mighty Komainu. Their last two EPs uncompromisingly conquered the Beatport breaks charts, so our team is determined to have a strong re-start of the label, after a four-month break since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

Zeppelin EP as an inflammatory melting point of nuskool & progressive breaks, best represents the sound of Komainu and RUNE Recordings as a whole. Four tracks of the release are dedicated to the mechanized character of Manchester and symbolize the technical progress depicted within the music. We've got another top tier remix package for you from another one of Toast & Jam's hottest tracks, Alt-A's Level The Funk. BasStyler kicks off the project by reworking the original synth riff into a slightly different melody. He then incorporates the original vocal sample as we are introduced to a brand new tear-out sawtooth filter-sweeping bass line. The GavTech remix takes us on a tech-breaks journey as the original melody and vocals are cut, chopped, and rearranged. The bass line is a low wobbling sub-rattler, while heaps of editing showcase GavTech's unique production style and skills.

Kelle has been a long resident of the label and in addition to dozens of tracks and remixes, he also managed to release two albums. Thus, the Reset EP is a combination of the explosive energy of breaks and psychedelic synths that definitely "rips the roof off" in the best sense. St. Petersburg label Calligraphy Recordings and TechFunk Russia team are presenting a unique compilation. Never before has there been a compilation which would include only Russian tech-funk musicians.

Our compilation includes tracks having a classical sound as it was when this culture was just emerging and a more modern one that conveys current trends. Moreover, the release contains deep tracks by musicians who have never composed in this genre before, but responded to join us. And we are really thankful to them.
