We start the post summer season with a new release from Serbian producer Goran Alavuk (@Alavux), who returns after his appearance in our VVAA “Transmute v.01” [HXAGRM004], including four cuts of advanced, rugged, broken EBM techno, plus a remix by the Berlin based producer @SergeGeyzel, for those who know.

Innamorato opens fire with hi speed breaks and a continuous industrial sequence and acid overdriven lines on top.

Veccio slows down the pace a bit, one more time using breaks as rhythm foundation, with rave-like sounds floating over the acid infused bassline.

Serge Geyzel reworks Veccio with a cleaner sound approach, still preserving the broken beats and giving the acidic flavour into another dimension.

Harlequin follows with a similar sound palette as Innamorato, this time spiced with distortion.

Freakin closes the release and again incides in the sound distortion and speedy breaks with no mercy.

Not for the fainted hearts out there!

Scouring the depths of distant worlds and roaming through long abandoned industrial landscapes, they bring us five alien tracks of overdriven, weirdo electro, mechanized broken-beat acid, and occultist electronics in an ode to ghosts of buried memories. Bleak and dystopian, these transmissions point towards a cold vision of blurred perceptions, false realities, and lost identities.

Finally, on our twelfth episode, it's time again for a Live-Act! Producing since the 90’s, the 37 years old teacher came up with Hardenberg in 2017, while experimenting with different synthesizers, such as the Arturia Minibrute: “which only wanted to be used for electro” the Leipzig local said to us. So he became part of the Leeds based electro label Cyber Domain, delivering two great tapes so far. Last year releasing “VA001”, a Various Artist with great musicians such as Lloyd Stellar, Francois Dillinger and Isolated Material followed by Dominik Wiertz’ “Grounded EP”. Since the day we stumbled upon his productions and YouTube videos we’ve been highly interested in what he is up to, that’s why we are super stoked to have him play a Live-Set for our upcoming episode. Your hosts are going to kick off the show with a 1 hour B2B session, Hardenberg takes over at 9pm and delivers some machine controlled funk.

Starting our intergalactic journey this year with Leipzigs finest Dj Detox aka Gnista, not only resident at Mjut but also night manager and part of the orga  team behind the club. Born in the Osterzgebirge, Dresden raised and now based in Leipzig he is providing us with various releases on labels such as R.A.N.D, Uncanny Valley, F.T.P, Mechatronica & Brokn Toys, to name a few. He first made contact with making music by playing guitar in several small band projects, from there he started to collect dubstep vinyls and later figured out how to produce his own beats with Ableton. Since 2011 he has been inspired and teached a lot by Steve Kasper aka Steve.e and the Sub Sickness Crew from Dresden. Now his unique style ranges from electro breakbeats over to uk garage and jungle sounds all the way to classic house. We are very happy to kick off the year with this machine warrior on january 7th, 6pm CET!

For our next episode we invited Ambient-Dadaists Technik AG. With their hybrid live-set between turntablism and synthesizing these two sound designers creat dynamic soundscapes with floating textures and sharp contrasts. Besides drones and beats you will also recognise obscure voice samples and field recordings, impulsively arranged, somewhere between techno and musique concrète.
This one is going to be special in many ways: we are broadcasting live from the Eckladen location on Karl-Heine-Straße with a special light and video installment by trq_billy, on february 4th, 6pm CET.
