My incredibly talented wife is releasing a mystery-horror fiction novel called “Evergreen Peaks” this year and it’s beautiful and terrifying and thought provoking and she asked me to help her produce an original soundtrack for the book. “Wine Witch” is the first single from the EP- the chapter where times are good, drinks are flowing, and the party’s on... Until Martha goes missing. We made it into a song that you can dance or surf or eat pizza to.

Just a music producer artist guy who loves steamed vegetables and is mostly blind in one eye. Here's my story.

In the 2020 clusterduck-shmitstorm, I quit my corporate job and moved from the Toronto area to Vancouver Island with my wife and two cats where I'd write and record the first Calm Canopy singles (, , , ) in a makeshift bedroom studio, which were all released over the span of a few months.

2021: the new songs made their way into new ears via various Spotify editorial playlists such as Indie All Stars, Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Rock, Fresh Finds: Indie, Fresh Finds: Pop, RADAR Canada, New Music Friday Canada, undercurrents, and Ready to Rock. I was floored. I felt like dancing; I did. I enjoyed a square of the darkest chocolate I could find. Then I got back to work.

Today, I continue to produce my indie rock/pop anthems of inner discovery from my home studio in a small town located West of Toronto. 🇨🇦 Thank you for lending me your ears.
