The project Alien Chaos emerges from a variety of geometrical patterns inside a timeline. He uses DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to create and manipulate sound waves that are transmitted to the listeners through the air vibration in the environment. Liquid and granulated sounds and impact effects build an alien atmosphere, leads sharped by filters interact between the beats and fulfill the rhythm of the trip taking the listener to a high spiritual state

Killawatt & Particular are the solo Psychedelic Trance projects of Byron Sampson from Cape Town, South Africa. 

I always find myself writing two different styles of psy trance so decided to split it with two different names. Originally I've always being Killawatt but now I have a newer one called Particular. I really enjoy the groovy night time psychedelic full on and the dark forest early morning vibes. So now I can distinguish between the two: D

Killawatt:

This is my darker sometimes higher tempo ranging from 148 – 160 bpm. Glitchy, atmospheric and occasionally hi tech or Forest sounding project aimed for the earlier hours of the morning.  This is a project I am very excited to experiment with where I have no boundaries and anything goes. No formula, just messing around to see what new things I can come about with synthesis. Twisted FX sounds, Crunchy leads, big atmospheres and lower bass lines with a slightly groovy feel. 
 
Particular: 

This is my “lighter” project which tempo ranges from 145 – 148 bpm.  To me I would call it a day time project however most would say it’s more for the night time psychedelic  full on vibe. Driving leads, grainy FX, glitch percussion FX lines and groovier bass lines with higher energy compared to Killawatt. I’m super stoked to have this one going and will have lots of tunes posted eventually :D

Rubix Qube is Kieron Grieve. At 27, his Live act showcases some of the freshest ideas in the psy-scene today. From "Qubinomix" to "Dark Kontinent", his combination of twisted melodies, driving percussion and intelligent compisitions fuse into a genre-busting intense audio experience. He has Performed alongside Sunproject, Absolum, Skazi, Tron, Menog, Scorb, KoxBox, Lost + Found, Shift, Khopat, EMP and more. With an advanced diploma in Sound + Music, ranked top 30 on DJ mag SA >> and an insatiable mind, you can expect to hear some stellar music that makes you unexpect the expected ;)

1000mods is a stoner rock band from Hiliomodi, Greece. They formed in 2005 and after a few changes the final lineup was made up in summer 2006. From that time and later on they have played numerous live shows and sometimes they accompanied bands like Nightstalker (greek stoner rock legends), Brant Bjork, My Sleeping Karma,Radio Moscow and Colour Haze. They tend to impress everyone that attends their shows with their commitment to vintage equipment, the thick and heavy analog sound and their remarkably passionate on stage performing.

In the beginning of 2007 they released their self financed first EP “Blank Reality” on CD. In December 2009 they stroke back with a brand new 7” EP titled “Liquid Sleep”. Available on coloured (light green) vinyl by SuiSound.

In October 2010 they recorded their debut album with the almighty Billy Anderson(Sleep, Melvins, Neurosis, Om, Los Natas, Orange Goblin etc...).

Mr. What? is a question that offers some very interesting answers. 

Liran Ackerman, the man behind this fresh progressive psy project is already known for his success as part of the duo 'MUTe/MUTation'. Following the years of experience he collected with MUTe, Liran felt it was time to set off on a journey of his own. This journey was always about more than just music production, but had a strong calling for creating a palpable fusion between forward thinking beats and universal ideas and emotions that surround us all. This spiralling journey through music, soundscapes and omnipresent concepts has taken Mr. What?'s sound to a refreshing crossover between deep progressive and clubby techno, with just the right amount of psy influence. This can be heard and felt in his tunes, which grab hold of you and offer a refreshing essence of unpredictability in exactly where the groove may take you. Needless to say, his journey is one that we can easily identify with, and instantly feel compelled to join in on regardless of where it's heading. After all, the journey isn't about the destination, but about the road you take as you move along.

Mr. What?'s latest album '27' is pure example of this unbound road, where each track reveals a unique and fascinating view of life, and the endless possibilities of experience. The album features beautiful vocals by Netaly Reshef in 'Substance Fog' and 'Open Your Eyes', and bear a reminder of the angelic guidance that lives in us all. The album also offers some massive collaborations with U-Recken, Roger Rabbit, Krunch and a huge remix to Ritmo's Dream & Reality .

Dan Scot, is a psytrance DJ with a passion for music and community. He has been making waves in the psytrance scene with his energetic performances and dedication to his fanbase. His music is a reflection of his love for the genre, and he is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible with his sets for the last 15 years! Dan Scot takes his dancefloor on a journey through a dystopic wonderland!

Recently stepping down from Psynopticz Records, Dan Scot now finds himself co-owning Hidden Leaf. A Cape Town production and artist management brand hosting indoor and outdoor events for the past 3 years. He has built a dedicated fanbase that eagerly anticipates each new performance. His sets are always packed with energy, a relentless assault on the senses, full of driving beats and mind-bending soundscapes. He is a true master of his craft, and his fans are always in for a treat when he takes to the stage. 

Dan is more than just a dj, he is a true advocate for the psytrance community. He is always looking for ways to bring people together and create a sense of unity within the scene. Whether it's through his music or his interactions with his fans, he is always striving to create a positive and uplifting experience for everyone involved.

Over the years Dan Scot has appeared on most of Cape Towns indoor circuit including his own production, Zodiac which sadly ended with the pandemic.

He has also performed at outdoor festivals such as Origin, Organik, Alien Safari's Rezonance NYE, Masqued Ball, Vortex, Altered States, Wacky Woods, Echo Gatherings, One Festival DBN, Equinox Experience, Elysium DBN, Sanctuary JHB, Twilight Festival JHB, Connexion NYE DBN, Transylvania, Earthdance JHB, Cape Town as well as in Nelson Mandela Bay!

Fagin's Reject is London born Phil Getty.&#13;
Phil comes from a psychedelic rock and metal background and was first exposed to Goatrance in 1992 at London based Goa parties, and quickly began to collect the limited vinyl it was released on. Soon after, he made his way to Goa and has been attending parties and festivals all over the world ever since.&#13;
After returning from India in 1994 he became a member of Lost Sector, an early Techno-Acid group made up of Bill Robin from Warp Technique/Bill & Ben, and Benny Ill from Horsepower Productions/Tempa, which had several releases on Fishtank Records.&#13;
Originally a bassist and funk DJ, Phil started producing Psytrance around 2003 out of a need to express musical ideas. It was only after attaining a music technology qualification in 2008 that making music became more serious to him, and so Fagin's Reject was born.&#13;
Since 2013 he has played all over the world, and has become a regular at the biggest Psytrance festivals where he continues to push his original, funky, dark style, while representing the mighty Wildthings Records.

After a lot of attempts to write music together they finally found their style and are focused now on big basses, dark atmospheres, glitchy FX and twisted leads!  

They have both been in the trance scene for many years and both found their direction with the darker kind of psy trance ranging from 146 – 152 bpm. Both have a strong passion for the music and can’t wait to blast it in your faces!
