Welcome summer! So welcome to a new Wow!, N.62.

Here we are to present a “Remix release” from German Brigante! No Original Mix, only remixes! Inside we can find two remixes! 
 
First version is made from one of the best artists of the moment, top DJ of the British house music. 

Please welcome Richy Ahmed. 

He’s one of the heads behind the big label Hot Creations,  steadily searching new vibes and fresh grooves, taking inspiration from disco, techno, funk, electro and hip-hop.

Groove and nature are the words of this release, and Richy perfectly connected these things, making an amazing result with his version! After a few seconds of listening perfectly understand that this track will be a killer tune! The voice begins early, and it grows up with a pounding filtered drum together with a classical techno chord that catch you completely off guard. The dark relentless bass line accompanies all the track into a “wild” moment of the night! It's totally sure that this track is created to do damage to dance floors worldwide. Annie Mac already played it as Exclusive Track on her BBC Radio 1 show! 
 
The second mix was prepared by the homie Luca Donzelli! Summer is already with us, and he decided to re-work the original track in a more happy and house way! We can feel perfectly his touch, passing trough heavy bass line, lot of synths taken and re-worked from the original track, with pure energy! First part of the track goes up till the first breakdown, with a very long old house square sound, that makes a good “re-start” with only kick, bass line, and really high detailed woody background! The looped voice, together with a pad, makes a a warm mid part of the track until the last breakdown, where a short synth organized in a phased melody makes a huge energy, before the track ends.
 
We are really proud to present this special release that has so big material for this summer! Both tracks surely, will entry directly in your sets, from techno to house and tech-house!

Today's instalment of our 50WEAPONS Debut series is off the label's fourth RIP split-single from Bambounou and renowned Perlon artist, Margaret Dygas – whose B-side is our top choice. "Popular Religions" marries Dygas' minimal aesthetics perfectly with 50WEAPONS' Berlin-centric style. A well made match when placed alongside Bambounous bubbly "See You Soon".

Lo and behold; today marks the very last instalment in our ten-part Debut series with 50WEAPONS. What better way to round it off than with a 12" of techno head-splitters from two notable Berlin heads – FJAAK and Dystopian head, Rødhåd. A powerful combination that cements Berlin's ever strong, unfaltering plight in the techno world of today.

Rødhåd's 50WEAPONS inauguration may be delayed but, falling in at catalogue number #049 (close second to the grand finale), it's better late than ever. In the Elder Scrolls game-inspired "Oblivion", factory line drums pummel softly underneath, whilst faint synth sirens circle overhead. We can almost feel the smoke-filled, strobe-lit warehouse now. A noble sendoff to the prestigious 50W imprint, with some much revered Dystopian flavour. R.I.P. 50WEAPONS

Rødhåd "Oblivion" - Boiler Room Debuts

Kinesis Records welcomes France's own GARYHAZE to the family with his debut SCARED EP. SCARED is a journey into the raw sounds of the French underground, showcasing a broad range of musical talent and master instrumental and hardware manipulation. Each track brings it's own distinct mood and character to the release, from the eerie vocals on 'Cncrt@flmr' to the hypnotizing atmosphere and rhythm of 'Can I Say'. 'Fury' catches the soulful energy and raw groove of old school house, followed by the broken dub vibes of 'Metaburne'. 

The release also features powerhouse remixes from the likes of France's Raär, who provides a mental, scathing, and acidic remix of 'Can I Say' while London-based Kanyalang drops a driving lofi rehash of 'Fury'. Wyght pushes his dark-black trademark blend of techno for his interpretation of 'Cncrt@flmr', and Kinesis co-owner Dylan Newton takes things downtempo with a slow, chugging acid rework of 'Metaburne'.

Available on all music platforms October 11th.

GARYHAZE - Fury

ow it's time for another triple threat and The Martinez Brothers are welcoming a whole host of electronic talent to Cuttin Headz for their label's next release. The 'Joint Custody' EP is perhaps one of the biggest releases on the New York imprint to date and over two tracks, they've enlisted the likes of Martin Buttrich, Mathew Jonson and Jerome Sydenham to lend a production hand.

On one side, Martin Buttrich has teamed up with the brothers on 'Attention Deficit Disorder' which we heard at Printworks and boy does it thump but we've got the premiere of Jonson and Sydenham's collaborative effort, 'No Pop'.

This gargling 12-minute epic is the perfect culmination of the three act's sounds. It's hard to put it into words without using the words banger or weapon so we'll let you listen and judge for yourself.

Rat Life is back with more unheard material from the hidden bedroom studios of East Germany. One Day In Metropia - is a project that was active around the year 2008 - operating out of the concrete suburbs of Dresden. Its main focus were live appearances in the citie’s underground electronic music circle. 

Just a few signals of its enormous creative output were published on various sound carriers to this day. So it was time to release some more of this large bulk of data that has been lurking on storage devices for years. Rat Life's operator Credit 00 is proud to be allowed to contribute a remix version to this sonic document.

After the exceptional response for DELT.A’s debut release, label head Deltano leads the way with two original cuts and an impressive remix by TVE Recordings boss, Joris Biesmans.

Belgium based Deltano rose to fame with tracks on Be Chosen, Suara and many others, soon becoming a permanent feature in the selections of a wide cross-section of DJs. Sets at Extrema Outdoor, Tomorrowland and Cafe D’Anvers have cemented his place among the Belgian House elite and across these two cuts, Deltano shows his depth of studio craft and myriad influences.

Deltano’s first original, ‘Flow’, is a muscular house cut with tribal overtures. Very reminiscent of his DJ style, layers of tension build up over time before an apt vocal sample details the concept of layering sounds.

Built around a repeated musical motif, ‘Thrive’ bursts from the speakers with fresh energy and warm summery vitality. Underpinning the track is a solid percussive framework giving the melodic elements plenty of room to breathe. Upping the pace on the remix, Watergate regular and TVE Recordings boss Joris Biesmans funks things up considerably with a rubbery bassline driving the track forward.

Exhausted Modern is a Prague based DJ and producer and a half of a well-known Endless Illusion label. Having had a recent release on brokntoys, he comes back with a new EP on Rotterdam Electronix.  In his own words, “taken from the EP "Happy Hertz Club Banned" coming on Rotterdam Electronix later this month, the record kicks off with an extended acid injected electro track called ''All Things Are Possible’’. While playing with the term of motivational spirituality, we’re getting put in a contrast with dystopian vibe of the track."
The record is available on Rotterdam Electronix, by the end of December.
