For our first Ak Family journey, what a pleasure to welcome Apsāya aka “AP_Sick", based in Lyon, 
she builts one of our favourite go-to spaces, and excels in the way to tell
the most beautiful side of electronic music.

Apsāya aka “AP_Sick" has crafted her musical identity whithin a realm she has always envisioned
as a fluid and eclectic.
Drawn to the gentle embrace of ambient sounds as well as the frenetic beats of techno
that is both rich, agressive and irresistibly danceable.
She places the emotions evoked by her music at the forefront of her artistic vision.
Her personality shines through her musical choices: intensity, sensuality, and contradictions
are ever-present in her work.

Dive into a world of suffocated thoughts intertwined.

The release of Binary Echoes is a challenge to traditional norms and stereotypes, freedom of expression and the search for new horizons, where he combines experiments with AI, spectral distortions and music for an oscilloscope.

“CDparanoia was a program I used to use to digitize CDs when I dabbled in Linux. I thought it was funny to name my IDM album that. The tracks on it were created between 2017 and 2023. Some of them I made on analog synthesizers, which gave them a special warmth and character; others were created with Ableton because I wanted to experiment with complex arrangements. But all the tracks on the album have something in common: it is a combination of abstract rhythmic structure and stretchy, floaty pads that create depth and space of sound.”

Discos Del Quebranto, a sub-label from Brokntoys, will be dropping a 5 track split EP by Gil. Barte and LostSoundBytes on 18th February. A hypno-industrial release is divided into two parts featuring two strong and authentic characters. 
Gil. Barte is an artist who immerses the listeners into a deep hypnotic trance, while Lostsoundbytes attacks with a more aggressive approach of distorted rhythms and crazed anxious voices.
