Accents Records returns, for its ACCENTAPE series, with a split EP between Faintface and Abu Ama. This series focuses on the introduction of emerging artists, offering them to share their very own vision on original opuses, without any compromise.

On this matter, ACCENTAPE006 particularly stands out. With its extreme weather, forecasting the largest amplitudes of temperature, this is one of our most radical releases yet. Pursuing the intriguing aesthetic brought to light through its Vapordub compilation earlier this year, the French imprint is now exploring deeper under the iceberg of contemporary psychedelic music. A ten-track generous blend of 80s-90s mellow new age and crystalline HD sound-design, in the true spirit of the eco-futurism vibe.

Our eighth premiere in the Sessions’ catalogue happens to be directly from multi-talented Heap himself, who not only runs his Vienna-based label Neubau, but is also about to drop his first ever solo debut. 
Amour Propre title, according to Heap, is based on a philosophical concept, making to think of “one’s importance of self-respect and the contradictory connection of self-love and self-portrayal” that seems to be predominant characteristics nowadays.
Raw and electrified notes, bending into a rough kicker line could be heard throughout the entire track, which is yet another symbol of “uncompromising”, “functional” and “honest” in the music, released and out on Neubau in the early April dates of 2019.
