Originally released independently throughout the 2000s, this compilation has been arranged by Brainrot Records following 'DSS' signing with the label in 2024.

Hailing from the vibrant streets of Kingston, Jamaica, Dubside Story is a visionary reggae and dub artist known for his deep, hypnotic rhythms and raw lyrical prowess. Since his beginnings in 2002, Dubside Story has carved out a unique space in the world of Jamaican music, blending traditional roots reggae with modern dub, electronic textures, and immersive instrumental storytelling — a style that inspired his name.

Emerging from Kingston's underground music scene, Dubside Story first made waves with a series of independently released instrumental demo EPs throughout the 2000s. Although these demos were raw and, at times, revealed signs of growing pains, they earned Theron Kofi — the man behind the project — a dedicated following in reggae and sound system culture.

In 2018, Dubside Story released the EP 'Only Jah Can Judge Me' followed by his debut album 'Riot Grrl' in 2020, which further established his status as a force in the genre. After years of building a grassroots following, Dubside Story signed with Brainrot Records in 2024. This move was swiftly followed by the release of his latest and arguably most powerful project to date, 'The Price of Freedom' EP. The release focuses heavily on Theron's political views, taking aim at tyrannical governments both in Jamaica and around the world.

The move to Brainrot Records also saw the re-release and remastering of his classic demo EPs as part of a special collector's edition. This milestone marked the beginning of a new era for the artist as he prepares to release fresh material and tour internationally, bringing his unique brand of dub to audiences far beyond his Jamaican roots.

With over two decades of music behind him, Dubside Story remains a dynamic force in the reggae world, dedicated to preserving the roots of dub while simultaneously crafting its future.
