New Orleans-based R&B, Soul, and Pop artist Vernon James is creating his own lane and unique style; quietly rising through the music scene. Blending elevated futuristic beats with silky vocals and eloquent writings to produce a masterful and sonic listening experience. Since his career launch in 2021, this independent artist has boasted over 4,000+ streams worldwide, performed at several venues and sold-out shows around the state, and worked with other upcoming local artists. His first single “Sweet Rum” [2021] created buzz and garnered the attention of some notable artists as Muni Long and others. The next release “Shot” [2023] allowed him to hone in on his sound, creating the current style of Alternative R&B /Pop that we love now.
