MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back esteemed Berlin duo MAT.JOE for another EP that is packed with real heat. Originally from Hannover, they moved to Berlin and have since impressed with their soul infused rhythms on plenty of top labels like Hot Creations & Aaarival, but they are regularly supplying the heat for MOTHER!

LOVE STREAM is first and is a seven minute bubbler with nice loose toms, driving sub bass and classic vocal samples that will get dancers moving and shaking. It’s warm and filled with good time vibes.

I GO is more physical, with raw drums and sharp percussive hits all driving along beneath a male vocal with real attitude. It’s sleazy and direct and sure to make you sweat. Last of all.

SO HIGH  is a big track with powerful drum loops, slapping hits and a fiery vocal that all come with healthy bass and rubbery drums. It’s a great way to close out another perfectly functional and fun EP from these ever on point producers.

This is the last release for this year. 
Claptone opened 2012 with the Beatport Top10 track 'Cream' which has become our most succesful tune on Exploited. 
Since then, Claptone has conquered hearts from clubbers and DJs worldwide. 
Claptone belongs to a new generation of artists from the Exploited roaster who - together with Adana Twins and Doctor Dru - took the dance-world by storm, playing shows all over the world now.

Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones joins forces with Cuttin’ Headz curators The Martinez Brothers for the first time to present the anthemic Bappi, an unmistakable powerhouse of a track that has been setting dancefloors alight all summer at their respective DC10 Ibiza residencies.

The A side features title track Bappi, a trademark bassline opens the record, developing with playful strings and sirens before distinctive Indian vocals are teased in, shifting the energy as it unfurls into a big-room Hot Creations hit. On the B side, Bappi (Warehouse Mix) magnifies the groove, as head nodding kicks combine with darker synths, creating an acid-tinged, smoky rework of the original. Look out for the Warehouse Mix dropping November 1st.

Spanning the last decade, world renowned DJ and producer Jamie Jones has pioneered his own definitive sound. His global event series Paradise is now in its eight season at the magical Ibiza home of DC10, whilst also landing in cities like Miami, New York, LA, Moscow and Toronto. As it nears 150 releases, helping to shape the careers of Patrick Topping, Detlef and Richy Ahmed in the process, Jones and his label continue to cement a place in dance music history. House favourites The Martinez Brothers are near completion of another stacked summer schedule that has seen them throw their Cuttin’ Headz parties on the White Isle for the first time, as well as playing at Circoloco, Paradise and Music On. Dutch-Carribean stars Shermanology debut on Hot Creations with the tremendous three-track Bon Bini EP. The release continues an outstanding 2020 for the brother-sister pairing, which has seen them collaborate with The Martinez Brothers already this year.

Speaking of the release, Shermanology described how “Bon Bini is a combination of everything we stand for. House with a lot of different influences, from gospel to Caribbean. “Bon Bini” means “Welcome” in our language Papiamentu.”

The title track, Bon Bini, kicks off proceedings in a no-nonsense fashion, as a pumping lead kick merges with latin-inspired vocal cuts. The lengthy breakdown builds a party atmosphere, as rustling hats provide an up-tempo feel. OK - Cool - Aight feat. ConQuer Jones comes next, with its uplifting piano rolls and wonderful vocal solo courtesy of the lead vocalist who tells us to “make the best of what life has to offer.” Breathe feat. Agent Sasco rounds off the EP. A straight-up club cut, the kick-hat blend is irresistibly danceable, building on an underlying bassline that features Agent Sasco’s whispering lyrics underneath.

Hailing from the beautiful Dutch-Carribean island of Curacao, brother-and-sister duo Shermanology have become one of electronic music’s most well loved and well known pairings releasing on the likes of Rawthentic and Dirtybird. This year marked a pivotal milestone in their career as they collaborated with The Martinez Brothers on the incredible Bam Bam. Add to this their soon-to-be-released debut on Hot Creations and it is safe to say Shermanology will be making heads turn, and feet move, for years to come.
