We're thrilled to present our next release - Imilebe EP by the newest members of our family, NEFERU, and our label bosses, FUNKAMEL. This release includes two original tracks and five splendid remixes by FreakMe, Evan Hatfield, Jack Essek, blue Dietrich, and Nebu Mitte.
NEFERU (Umut Balamur and Görkem Güner) and FUNKAMEL (Moti Landesman and Neria Orbach) have collaborated to create two Afro House summer anthems that are sure to captivate and inspire.

On remix duty, we've enlisted the talents of FreakMe, Evan Hatfield, Jack Essek, blue Dietrich, and Nebu Mitte to bring fresh perspectives and unique flavors to the original tracks. First, we are happy to welcome FreakMe to our family, who has released music on labels such as Diynamic, Get Physical, and Exploited, giving "Imilebe" a super fresh Melodic Techno interpretation. Next up is Nebu Mitte, returning to our label with a hypnotic organic house remix of the theme track. The last remix of "Imilebe" comes from the talented blue Dietrich, who delivers a mellow and captivating edition. Then, the legendary Evan Hatfield returns with a punchy, organic, desert-inspired twist to "Nuku." Last but not least, Jack Essek creates an extraordinary fusion masterpiece that we can't stop listening to.

The highest goal of music is to connect soul to its divine nature, not just entertainment :)

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
