Oh-J began his career on decks about as stable as Amanda Bynes. His first few years were spent scrubbing Bundy Rum off CDJ1000’s the morning after house parties he couldn’t remember. It was an unpretentious upbringing, one that made him realise mixing music for a living wasn’t the perfect pastime many envisioned. But Oh-J wouldn’t have had it any other way. He was never in it to be a rock star. 
If you asked him back then, he would have had no idea just a year down the track he’d land his first pub gig, and from there on he’d surface in some of the coolest nightclubs in South East Queensland. He didn’t have a plan of attack for his career as a music producer, but he knew he enjoyed the late nights and playing music people enjoyed. He had a knack for mixing songs that worked, and unlike many of his friendly associates, he was happy to trawl the web for new music on his nights off. He wasn’t half bad at drinking bar tabs either.
Fast-forward to the modern day and Oh-J has well and truly worked out his plan of attack. Now a resident at the prestigious Met Nightclub, he’s played at premier SEQ venues like Family, GPO, Eatons Hill and Dragonfly, but also proudly taken the stage at festivals including Future and Steresonic. Couple that with his lust for production, which currently has him piloting through a Bachelor of Audio Production at SAE, and this youthful gem is a well-rounded addition to a sometimes stale realm. 
With his sights set on future but his concentration cemented in the present, Oh-J is currently polishing his skill set with the intent of one day touring Australia and the world on the back of his own productions. He’s already fired up the jets and strapped on the burners, so when this ambitious 21 year old fills up the tank and takes off, you’d want to be one of the crew on board.
