So, what's with that name Magnifik? Well, it stands for magnificent. Not the artist but the music. It's all about the love of music.
 
Magnifik’s soulful electronic tracks have been described as 'music for the nu-romantics' and his knack for mixing catchy melodies with soul, disco and house inspired productions have earned him plenty of fans since he first started playing his synth to his dog a decade ago.

He has represented Australian talent in New York as part of the Summer Stage Festival, played at the Warehouse Music Festival, performed runway shows four times at Fashfest fashion festival, featured at two ArtNotApart art festivals, was the headliner at the CBR Day concert and performed at the Triple J’s Groovin The Moo festival.
 
Magnifik has singles out on Bobbin’ Head Music, Yes Yes Records, Klub Kids, Say What and Hot Sunday Records and remixed such acts as PNAU and SAFIA on labels including Ministry of Sound, Etc Etc, Sweat It Out and Bam Bam Records. The singles have been around the ARIA Club Chart and received airplay as far as Radio 1 in the UK, Fritz radio in Germany and as close at Triple J in Australia.
 
His songs even featured on highly successful compilations including Ministry of Sound Chillout Sessions XIV, Hed Kandi Beach House, Defected Records Niki Beach Miami and RAW FM. How successful? Even his grandparents have a copy of all of them.

Magnifik has released four albums ‘Amateur’, ‘The Gentleman of Disco’, ‘Romantik’ and ‘Music & Wine’.  The last album must have really hit the right note with fans and critics, gaining 50,000+ streams in the first month.
 
For all this effort he has received a pointy award as the Best House Producer at the Music ACT Annual Music Awards. It is now glistening in his studio, but let’s not focus on that but rather on all the electronic soul music that he is lovingly working on now.

2011 is already shaping up to be a big year for Cheese...Following on from festival appearances in recent years at both the Foreshore Summer Music Festival 2010 and the All Our Friends Music Festival 2009 (We Love Sounds,  ACT). CHEESE recently took to the WAREHOUSE WINTER MUSIC FESTIVAL 2011. As a testament to both his experience and local following; CHEESE was selected to play the critical peak time slot after SKRILLEX and before DEADMAU5 on the Main Stage 'Arena'. More recently in November 2011 CHEESE made his second appearance at the Foreshore Summer Music Festival. This time he brought the sunset in, in style in the Bloc Party Tent to a capacity 2000 + crowd of fans.
 
Over the years at various clubs both in Canberra, interstate and abroad Cheese has played similar peak time Warm-up and Closing sets for the likes of: Boys Noize, The Bloody Beetroots, Aeroplane, Wolfgang Gartner, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, The Proxy, Jack Beats, Kissy Sell Out, Dizzee Rascal, The Bagraiders, The Aston Shuffle, Ajax, Bass Kleph, Stafford Brothers and more... When hes not supporting big DJs Cheese also juggles a number of various club and promotional residencies more often than not  as a headliner with Pang! Kicks! Trinity Bar. Academy Club. Mingle/Univibes and UC Live! 

Standing somewhere in a void between indie, disco, house and techno. CHEESE always aims to make his sets memorable and fears anything stale and boring. Not content to sit back and simply play records Cheese loves to edit. He makes tracks work for his style and will rarely drop a track that he isn't feeling.
Yet despite all of the above sadly CHEESE is still not quite cool enough to find someone to write a bio for him...
