The routine was tiresome and tedious but the repetition helped to soothe his soul. Round in circles he would go, cleaning every inch until the surfaces shone spotless and gold. Everything must remain fresh in his place of rest, glossy and golden. He moved through the rooms of the large empty house, stuck in a perpetual cleaning loop. 

Cleanser is about to release an LP for the Seattle based Motor Records. Titled "Violence Is A Dream" the release features ten tracks of heavy hitting, wonky electronics.

Continuing the saga of emotion-laced and ethereal music written for hazed drives along the Puget Sound and spontaneous hikes amidst the Olympic National Forest comes 90 East, the debut from Seattle’s Kayla Waldorf (Aos). Here, four glowing yet melancholic tracks showcase Waldorf’s knack for extracting immersive melodies and constructing stripped back, industrial-tinged percussive elements. A lucid sonic experience, all rounded off with a remix from ½ of Delsin’s Artefakt, Robin Koek (Cyspe).

"Revival" starts things off with a somewhat menacing melody that gradually finds its way to the surface, striking minor notes in a way that immediately brings the listener to attention and calls for anticipation. Percussive patterns slowly enter the stereo field mid-way through at seemingly the most ideal point to satisfy the track’s sustaining expectation while building a substantial foundation for the narrative to come. "Limerence" continues the journey offering a brighter commentary on this thoughtful collection of work. Gently guiding the listener through an early morning meditative state, the track instills a sense of peaceful contemplation while simultaneously cultivating a sense of hope and optimism. Juxtaposing this comforting sense of bliss, "11 24" immediately brings the listener to an ominous sonic landscape marked by bleak visions of retrofuturistic landscapes and driving rhythmic pulses. "Echoic" renders the perfect conclusion to the trip with a lighthearted sense of rising (e)motion that reaches a climax with lush, reverb laced, pads and authoritative stabs bringing the listener back to whatever semblance of reality that remains. The final commentary from Robin Koek (Cyspe) gracefully caps off whatever rubble remains of the dream-like dancefloor left in the "11 24" wake.

Here 90 East points to specific geographic locations through a dexterity of expression particular to the artist. We are left in a reflective state as though recently having returned from a bout of travel—shedding bits and pieces of a fantastical world and a language, a new vision crafted around us via this collection of songs that conjure images of dance floors filled with fog and a distant illusion of echoing trance.

Eleh's influential Radiant Intervals I, originally released on CD/LP in 2010, is a meticulously nuanced, restrained exploration of the rhythmic and harmonic relationships inherent in pure analog frequencies using a blend of intuitive and mathematically based tunings. Dense patterns of sound slowly unravel and are woven together again in new ways while harmonics hover and shift overhead. Radiant Intervals is a purely analog recording, made with a Serge Modular system, Mini Moog, Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and a Pro-One.

“Bones Will Last”, the title track to Kathryn Claire’s latest album explores love, loss, reconciliation and transformation.  The sparse instrumentation of guitar (Kathryn Claire), piano (Don Henson) and upright bass (Allen Hunter) supports Claire’s honest and poetic writing and expressive voice.

Chaotic (poly)rhythms generated by natural elements such as wind and water, extended and combined with micro-improvisations. Field recordings of trains, crickets, grasshoppers are joined by a generative synthesis, inspired by the traditional music of Laos. Sounds of Jonáš’s childhood, sounds of immediate surroundings, ultrasounds pitch-shifted to our hearing dimension.
The main theme of the album is erratical behaviour of the environment and fauna in collaboration with attempts to find a pattern and order; exploration of ASMR phenomenon through unconventional microphone techniques and deep focus on meridian-response-inducing timbres. Each used sound has a strong emotional connection with Jonáš’s past and has its own story in the overall experience.
