Death is the Navigator is a Southampton based progressive metal band. Formed in the summer of 2014, they quickly found chemistry in the rehearsal room.

Combining layers of heavy guitar, gruff and clean vocals on top of a driving rhythm section, the band has a contemporary and progressive heavy metal sound. With a focus on developing an increasingly experimental style, Death is the Navigator offers an energetic and engaging live performance.

The name "Death is the Navigator" is a quote from a William S. Burroughs poem created during his "cut-ups" period.
