can7say, das deutsche Synthie-Pop-Projekt, wurde 1995 von Oliver Weber und Frank Hunold in Wuppertal gegründet. Schon vor der Gründung von can7say waren beide in verschiedenen Bands aktiv und sammelten erste Erfahrungen in der Musikszene.

Noch im Gründungsjahr unterschrieben can7say einen Plattenvertrag bei JERO Records. Nach dieser erfolgreichen Phase trennten sich die Wege von Oliver Weber und Frank Hunold 1997.

Olly entschied sich das Projekt can7say fortzuführen. Ohne Plattenvertrag entwickelte er den Sound von can7say kontinuierlich weiter. Seine Leidenschaft für eingängige Pop-Melodien und elektronische Elemente, gepaart mit seinen Wurzeln in der Independent-Musik, schufen einen einzigartigen Mix aus experimentellen und kommerziellen Klängen.
