Forever Blue

Emma Dowdy is one of the many faces of Belgian producer, DJ and visual artist Gaspard Hers, also commonly known as DJ Würm. The sharp-cutting and yet fragile tones of the Bilirubyn EP sing to us about a radical shattering of the very borders of our known bodily reality, taking us on a journey deep inside a shadow forest. And just when we may be tempted to think that we can’t stumble any deeper, that we've gone as far as one can, the rusty beats pull us ever further, into the limitless core, where little creatures spin the threads of darkness into erupting, golden beams of light. Their melody then twists our arms into yellow ribbons, our blood mingling with theirs, pouring into shiny streams like water seeping through our own pointed teeth. Lost in the furry basses, no names remain to be called.

Clown Sombre – Description (Frenchcore)

"Clown Sombre" tells the story of a man no one ever takes seriously. Too sarcastic, too clear-sighted — he makes people uncomfortable. He sees through the masks, catches the lies, and speaks the truths everyone wants to bury. So instead of listening, they mock him. Call him crazy. Call him a clown.

But this clown isn’t here to make you laugh.
He’s a dark, cutting voice, trapped between awareness and isolation.
The kicks hit like truths no one wants to hear. The breaks scream the pain of being understood, yet never believed.

"Clown Sombre" is the anthem of those who see clearly but are dismissed —
until everything collapses.

"Clown Sombre", c’est l’histoire d’un homme qu’on ne prend jamais au sérieux. Trop sarcastique, trop lucide, il dérange. Il voit à travers les masques, devine les mensonges, et pointe les vérités qu’on préfère enterrer. Alors, pour ne pas l’écouter, on le tourne en ridicule. On le traite de fou, de bouffon, de clown.

Mais ce clown n’est pas là pour faire rire.
C’est une voix sombre et tranchante, coincée entre lucidité et isolement.
Les kicks martèlent comme des vérités qu’on veut faire taire, les breaks hurlent le mal d’être compris mais jamais cru.

"Clown Sombre", c’est le son de ceux qui voient clair mais qu’on préfère ignorer.
Jusqu’à ce que tout s’effondre.
