Matt Roark brings you CHOMP, an electrifying sonic experience crafted by the Denver native himself. Bursting onto the scene with a concept as fierce as his name, CHOMP blends the brutal intensity of tearout dubstep with the raw, distorted energy of gritty house music. His sound embodies the raw, untamed energy that defines his vision, and every track he creates is a powerful expression of the explosive inspiration that drives him.

CHOMP’s path into electronic music was ignited in 2012 when he witnessed a Zedd performance at Denver’s Ogden Theatre, a moment that became a turning point in his life. From that night forward, electronic music became more than just a passion—it became a calling. Immersing himself in the thriving EDM culture, with Red Rocks Amphitheatre as his local musical playground, CHOMP was shaped by the work of icons like Borgore, Spag Heddy, Eptic, and Tchami. This deep connection to the music led him to pursue an Audio Engineering Degree from Belmont University, providing the technical backbone to match his creative vision. 

As CHOMP looks to the future, his focus is set on pushing boundaries and dropping groundbreaking releases that redefine the electronic music landscape. Fueled by an unwavering commitment to the culture that has shaped him, he’s dedicated to keeping the pulse of the scene alive.

Known for riveting bass drops, cutting-edge jazz production, and fiery live alto saxophone, OSSIEN crafts a strikingly unique sound that attracts bassheads and music aficionados alike. In July 2025, his jazzy-dubstep single STORMY WEATHER — a cover of the Etta James classic — earned a feature in New York’s Times Square, cementing his arrival as one of today’s boldest electronic artists.

Blending big band jazz with hard-hitting dubstep, future funk, drum and bass, and everything in between, OSSIEN is a versatile artist who doesn’t simply stay behind the decks — he is a seasoned musician and electrifying live performer, injecting every record with instrumentation rarely heard in bass music.

Hailing from Northeastern USA and currently based in Denver, OSSIEN isn’t just different — he’s pioneering a new lane for bass music, delivering everything from anthem-level festival bangers to groove-driven experimental journeys.
