Kévin Pasteur, better known under the pseudonym “Past”, is a producer of psychedelic electronic music based in Grenoble. He took his first steps in musical production by participating in the stages of the Trancemission pole in Hadra, while benefiting from the valuable advice of his friend and musical partner, Viandoks, with whom he created the project “Fast'n'Commit” in 2020, which quickly gained popularity on the Grenoble scene, notably during several notable performances which took place after confinement.
At the same time, Past focused his efforts on the development of his solo project, an approach which took a decisive turn with his integration into the Hadra Records label at the end of 2021. This partnership allowed him to access a multitude of local and at high-profile events, such as the Nataraja Psychedelic Gathering in 2022, as well as the Hadra Trance Festival main stage in 2023 and 2024.
He released his first track on the label in 2023, participating in the Hadra festival compilation, and then released his first EP in early 2024, entitled “Sewer Fever”. His second EP, "Merging Worlds", is out since 21/03/25.
Past's sound is distinguished by a groovy and dynamic psytrance, with rhythms exceeding 150 BPM, powerful and omnipresent bass lines, as well as dark and captivating ambiances. His deep and energetic live sets are designed to electrify the dancefloor, offering the audience an immersive and breathtaking experience.
