Hello Everyone, welcome back to the PFG Progcast! Fly with us every Wednesday as we scour the globe looking for those perfect Progressive beats! 

Stopping at the home of a girl whose very DNA is entwined with rave culture, our DJ today has only really just taken to the decks in the last few years. She's landed a few hot residencies, and with this guest mix aims to show us all where she is in her career progression .. we think its coming along just fine!

Based in England's leafy Loughborough, Candy Dupree Webb began her journey into electronic music, and the raving that comes with it, in 1992. She had already been into dance music since reaching her teens, and went to her first ever rave at the age of 17! After a few years of attending hardcore, drum and bass and jungle raves, it was The Man Like Sasha that initially turned her ear to the house music scene.

Following that, Sasha's world dominance with John Digweed and their game changing back to back DJ sets, locked Candy into the groove and took her down the Progressive House route. As it is the same for millions of us in the scene, Renaissance: The Mix Collection album changed the way she understood music and the art of mixing, forever.

It has taken nearly 20 years for Candy to transfer her wealth of knowledge in front of the decks to behind them. After being urged to put her passion for the scene and its music into something more fruitful than just messing around at after parties, it was the recent global pandemic and subsequent lockdown's, that finally saw Candy take the plunge. This time away from her beloved clubbing focused her mind on her mixing, the results of which are now bearing fruit.

Shortly after, Candy bagged a residency with PHUK, and has several head line DJ Show's online now. Top of these is her Saturday night slot on Subcode Club, playing alongside many of her DJ heroes!

The Illusion begins to melt away.
In the unassuming town of Veilstead, the mundane evening took an abrupt turn when a diverse group of residents suddenly saw through the collective Illusion. As daylight waned, shadows ceased to be benign silhouettes, revealing the monstrous truth lurking beneath familiar faces. The ordinary seemed to be a deceptive facade concealing creatures they never fathomed. Shocked and silenced, the group faced the unsettling reality that their neighbours, once thought to be ordinary people, were, in fact, monstrous entities all along. In their collective revelation, the group discovered an extraordinary ability: sonic sight. Through this newfound perception, they discerned the monsters' actual forms and harnessed the power to defeat them. The town, once draped in Illusion, now stood liberated, its residents forever changed by the combination of truth and the sonic sight that exposed the hidden menace.

forma oscura, originally from Greece and now a resident of London since 2012, has harboured a profound passion for electronic music since a young age.
Immersed in constantly exploring new auditory experiences, her musical interests traverse a diverse spectrum. From experimental compositions and tribal beats to mesmerizing melodies, dub-infused techno rhythms, and mentally evocative soundscapes, she finds her passion in exploring mystical and ethereal musical realms that surpass traditional boundaries.

Just in time, as every year, in February the sun slowly and majestically returns to the far north in a magnificent play of colors. 

And what goes better within this spectacular scenery than the warm, grounding baselines and hypnotic atmospheric sounds of Luigi Tozzi. 

In our next episode we are honored to present a mix of Paris based DJ and organizer Poussière Diamant. 

Julien, Founder of the "ART YOU OUT" collective (Paris), has invited and hosted many french and international artists in the last 10 years in France & Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain...). His DJ project,  Poussière Diamant explores the atmospheric, psychedelic and tribal side of deep hypnotic techno. In this edition he presents a mix to honor Luigi Tozzi's productions. 

Before we start, we are happy to hear a few words from Poussière Diamant about his affection of Luigi Tozzi. 


 "It's been 10 years since I discovered Luigi Tozzi, one of my favorite producers over the years (I've bought every one of his productions). A worthy heir to Dino Sabatini, Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, he has succeeded in making his own mark on the history of deep techno, thanks to his immense talent. I also appreciate his ability to constantly renew himself and explore new musical horizons, without ever losing sight of his musical DNA. 
Initially, I wanted to use Deep blue volume 3 for the Blendet Series project. But then I realized that Luigi Tozzi had already done it in his own way ! So I came up with the idea of making a tribute mix based on all his releases on different labels (Hypnus, Non Series, Outis Music, Mental Modern, etc.). 
Here's hoping Luigi likes it, what he'd probably have done much better! "
