This is my first mashup — combining Candy Shop by 50 Cent with Dale Don Dale by Don Omar. I just started my DJ journey and wanted to try making mashups, so I’m sharing this as a memory and the beginning of building my journey here on SoundCloud.

I’ve always loved music, but I didn’t know there was such a thing as rave music or that the kind of music I liked was played at rave events. I first went to a rave festival in 2022, and it completely opened my world. I didn’t have friends who shared my music taste, so at times I missed a lot of DJ shows because I didn’t have anyone to go with, and it didn’t feel safe going alone.

Now, I’ve picked up DJing as a hobby, and I’m really enjoying it. One day, I hope to play gigs and invite all the girls who, like me, don’t have a rave buddy to experience music safely, have fun, and enjoy the party.
