Every year I go and visit family over the holidays, which also gives me an excuse to dig in my own record collection and take some records back from storage. (As well as buy a few more things at my old record haunts). This year, I decided to make a mix featuring those records. Starts off in electro/italo and eases into more conventional disco.

Shoemaker has played at Wolfkop, Bazique, MCQP, Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Rocking the Daisies, and Retreat Yourself among other festivals and is a regular DJ in the city bowl where you can catch him playing at various venues around town or co-hosting one of many different events he’s runs.

DC - Guest Mix #004 - Shoemaker

This week The Don Craig Smith stands in for me providing a 2 hour house music masterclass demonstrating the reason behind the longevity of his career that spans decades and has taken him around the world.

Craig never fails to deliver a very different set every time I hear him whether he be playing house, soul, funk or hip hop and is one of the most diverse and exciting DJ's out there.

Craig also is a member of Soul Renagades with partner Ricky Reid and The 6th Borough Project along side Graeme Clark.

Craig has also this year started up his own label 'Beyond Tomorrow' on which he has put out 2 EP's so far with more exciting releases looming in the not to distant future (link for his Bandcamp page below).
