Had the pleasure of playing two sets of this incredible intimate doof. This recording is of the early arvo on the second day where I got to ease the crowd in to a hell of a night. I progressed through all different types of genres playing what felt just right.

Psychedelic Bush Disco 2024

Jacopo aka Bassi J, Italian by birth, turned into a global citizen through his wanderings. His journey began in Hangzhou, China, in 2012, where he banded together with a group of students to create UAi – Urban Art Ideas – a concept for parties that seamlessly integrated art and music.

Bassi J possesses an incredible ear for music. His thoughtful and layered DJ sets consistently demonstrate a masterful control over the pace and flow of the music, allowing even the most melancholic shades of house music to blossom with enthusiasm.

The result is a musical experience that is equally captivating on a vibrant nightclub dance floor as it is during a more relaxed and intimate listening session at home.

Cannjos has been no stranger to a dance floor whether it be deep in the Australian bush or in Melbournes electronic music scene. With a passionate appreciation for music that has sparked from a young age, from playing in punk bands to djing. He now thrives in being the one behind the decks providing the goods for the people in front of him.

With a music progression tailored specifically for each event; his collection is genre neutral. Ranging from minimal, deep tech, breaks and bush techno he can be seen playing at any time of day or night.
