"When I picked records and songs for this mix I wanted to include a lot of tracks that are timeless and not trendy. Important tracks are in my arsenal of music. I don’t own CDJs so I did the mix on my 1200s. These songs kind of reflect the epitome of the sound in an underground party, from any era. I ended the mix with an old Get F*cked track, because I love that record, and it's perfect for closing out a party or a mix. Nathan Coles and I have been homies for over 20 years. I recorded the mix a few weeks before passed and it makes the mix mean something more to me than just doing a cool DJ mix. RIP Nathan Coles, I always share the gifts you gave us in the form of music, and you will live on thru the hundreds of songs."

Born in 1981 in a tiny town of the Pre-Ural region, Votkinsk, Andrey Pushkarev is a Russian DJ recognized worldwide. He started DJ-ing at the age of 15 without any prior musical education. After moving to Moscow in 2000, while performing at night, during the day he started to work for the Russian branch of the German music distribution company TraumBaum. For 3 years he was overseeing exclusive import of foreign vinyl and DJ gear into Russia. Gradually, he assembled his own collection of 5 000 rare records. In 2006, Pushkarev became a resident DJ of the unique web radio DeepMix.ru that was broadcasting non-commercial techno music for free and without any advertising to 6 000 monthly listeners from 53 countries till the end of summer 2011. As a result of his unusual, deep, melodic and uncompromising techno broadcasts, Pushkarev quickly became known worldwide. His first DJ performance outside of Russia, in 2007, in France, followed by tours in Europe, South America and USA. He appeared as the main protagonist of the 2013 documentary feature film Kvadrat, exploring the realities of techno DJing, shot in 5 countries.

With a passionate appreciation for music that has sparked from a young age, from playing in punk bands to djing. With a music progression tailored specifically for each event; his collection is genre neutral. Ranging from minimal, deep tech, breaks and bush techno he can be seen playing at any time of day or night.
