Reeling from the devastation of a last minute cancellation of Esoteric 2025 we flocked with the masses to Wooroonook Lake, some 20 minutes down the road from the Esoteric site. 

ripple. and Max Preesh found themselves a window of opportunity to play a very special b2b together from Sunrise to 1pm on the Saturday as the energy was building and making it the renegade that it became for several days. 

Spanning multiple genres to fit the exact moments we were resonating with those fortunate souls who were with us on this bitter-sweet journey through heartbreak, mourning and sound. 

I hope you enjoy this as much as we did laying it down for you all.

Celebrar 5 anos de caminhada na pista, com tanta história, suor, entrega e evolução, é algo que não cabe em palavras.

A Quantum sempre foi mais do que um evento pra mim. É onde me encontro, me expresso e me conecto de verdade com quem sente a música como eu sinto.

Preparei esse set com o coração pulsando em cada transição. Do primeiro kick ao último drop, tem minha essência, minha jornada e a força de tudo que vivi até aqui.

The real reason is simple:
The themes explored in this EP hit a little too close to home.
Too many questions.
Too much truth.
They couldn’t let it out into the world.

A project borne of curiosity and sonic exploration, Scionaugh brings together a perfect balance of alien, instrumental and organic sounds that are equal parts groovy, driving and playful, the sonic sorcery of Scionaugh provides a dancefloor experience like no other. 

The notorious mad scientist of Australian bush prog is renowned for his knowledge of sound theory and mathematics, something immediately evident in the clean complexity of his production. This knowledge has also formed the foundation of his Sektion Sound channel, through which he teaches sound design, waveform theory, and audio production.

Throughout his career as a producer, Scionaugh has enchanted dancefloors across major festivals, including Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Elements, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Twisted Frequency NZ, Elysium, Groove and Bass CAN, and Wild Horses. Along these adventures, he has performed alongside scene heavyweights including Grouch, Electrypnose, Twisted Sibling, Pspiralife, Ryanosaurus, Sumiruna, Smilk, and Sensient. 

As well as these live performances, the Scionaugh project has released music on Universal Tribe Records AUS, Alpaka Muzik CAN, Weapon Records AUS, Technophobia Records ISR, Padang Records BRA , Sentimony Records LV, Visionary Shamanic Records UK, Jaira Records AUS, Mindscape ESP , Dense Nebula ZA, Tranquil Sounds AUS and Khao Records AUS.
