FFF - Desperately Seeking Summer (STW Premiere)

Bangkok based record label Boiled Wonderland has announced the release of their EP series Made from Moss. A vinyl trilogy from Chalo and Vell, with support from MetalMetal; highlighting the vibrant and growing electronic music scene in Bangkok and the interconnected nature from which it spawns. Vol.1 will drop on August 16th with an initial record release and digi to later follow. 
Despite being a large city with a population of 10 million, Bangkok's music scene is akin to that of smaller European cities. Where local creatives from all disciplines can be heard collaborating all over town and putting their mark on the city. This can be heard throughout Boiled Wonderlands’ back catalog too, releasing artists like DOTT, Sarayu, and Chalo, who are all developing new music from Thailand and part of the driving force behind Bangkok's underground renaissance. Both DOTT and Sarayu co-own record store and label by the same name More Rice Records, while Chalo is the mastering engineer at Thai pressing plant Ressurec where Made From Moss was formed.

Ghost (noun): an apparition of a dead person which is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image.

A little sweetness, a little chaos, and above all, a lot of freedom. We are very proud to reveal ‘GHOST’, the very first EP by LaCastagne emlaau, our friend and accomplice from the beginning.

Ghost, because, like sound, it is elusive. A discreet presence, but there, a mystical thing that is more guessed than revealed. We believe in ghosts or not—to each their own delusion.

This EP is the very essence of DALF. No plan, just exploration. Between analogue and digital, between the textures of the samples and the raw emotion of a melody played for hours on end. Shouting into a microphone after hammering away at a piano. Keeping the unexpected, embracing the accident, trusting the moment. Here, nothing follows a set path, everything is created through sensations. You no longer know whether you are dancing or thinking.

Welcome to the giant, spontaneous laboratory of LaCastagne.
Thanks to Kronol and Tefi for bringing their vision to this project through two remixes that give this laboratory even more body.
