Nach den schönen, verrückten Wochen mit meinen Besten, gab es auch den ein oder anderen Anlass für ein Bamboleo unter Begleitung vom Partyboi. Wer dabei war, weiß wovon ich spreche. 
Wir haben zusammen gelacht, getanzt, gespielt und uns über unsere persönlichsten Dinge ausgetauscht wodurch uns nochmal bewusst wurde, dass man bestimmte Menschen im Leben nicht so einfach findet und das schätzen soll, so gut man kann.
Diese kleinen Abenteuer der letzten Wochen und mein Abschied aus Gießen in Richtung Leipzig, möchten @krischiet und meine Wenigkeit mit einer musikalischen Darbietung untermalen.
Angeleitet wird das Ganze von langsamen, treibenden Klängen bis hin zu etwas dunkleren Discobeats, vollendet mit schnellen, wuchtigen, progressiven sounds und einem Closing der besonderen Art.

Zum Ende des Augusts dürfen wir Steffen Flum auf seinem hypnotischen Dampfer begrüßen.
Mit knapp zweieinhalb Stunden ordentlich treibenden Flumtech mit psychedelischen und spacygen Noten im Abgang, wird uns hier ein besonders saftiges Grapefruit-Zwölf-Gänge-Menü aufgetischt. 
Adäquat zur Mitte der Woche um alles andere als auf halber Strecke zu verdursten!

This short mix carried the working title "in dog years you'd be dead". It is about the relativity of things and the necessity not to see all things always so bloody absolute. All the more so, in difficult times like these. 

This mix succeeded so well because my music friend Evgeniy Orlov from Samara in Russia listened to it well after the first take. By doing so, he  identified exactly the same weak points as I did in my humble analysis. After that,  it was an easy job to change my concept a tiny bit.  Thanks for that my friend and thanks once again for showing me this Dmitry Molosh tune.

As this year continues to disappoint I felt it would be important to celebrate the few good things happening. Looking to the US in the last weeks, that was one of those moments. A glimmer of hope, a silver lining, maybe even a good omen for the year to come. This mix is also meant as a reminder to keep the dancing skills alive. We'll need them again!

Arwed´s musical  roots:  FFM - where DJ´s had already there own busniness cards and answering maschines in the early 90ties…. At the ending of the 90’s Arwed discovered himself electronic music. A time where radioprogram was still recorded on tapes and played again and again. These include most importantly hr-XXL-Clubnights with well known artists involved in the Frankfurt-clubculture. 

With the beginning of the new millennium Arwed finds himself at those clubs defining this world: Robert Johnson, MTW, the legendary U60311 and Tanzhaus-West, former known as ‚Space Place‘. Right from the start he developed his preference for vinyl-released electronic music and is still impassioned with the distinctive sound coming from the hessian metropole.
