Musician since his youngest age, it is with this in mind that he defends a music full of harmony, mentaly minimalist with deep grooves, to make you feel intense emotions whatever who you are...

This allowed him to play in several clubs accross Europe as well as releasing music on labels such as SK Eleven from Setaoc Mass or even his own imprints.

ABS8LUTE is a French music activist and passionate digger. 

As a groove lover, she enjoys driving her public into exciting techno storms with hypnotic atmospheres and percussive sounds. 

Outside of the DJ booth, she works for a better representation of women and POC in the industry by writing for music medias like Mixmag France, by animating talks and debates on inclusion for the Paris Electronic Week, and by creating the Vénus Club, a collective of women DJs that recently took by surprise the French electronic scene. 

Her unique take on rhythm led her to be on the same line up as DJ Stingray, DJ Tool, Mary Lake, Electric Rescue, ASEC and Hendrik van Boetzelaer, at Tresor with Laura BCR and several times at Berghain for the famous Klubnacht.

As 2014 winds down it’s important to catch our breath and take a look back at all the great music that poured out of the label this year. Just as the title implies Global Techno is our worldwide assault on the senses through crisp drums and monstrous synths. Represented on the compilation are artists from Holland, Belgium, Germany, America, Italy, Japan and Australia; quite a diverse crowd yet all sharing a common obsession for body-shaking bass.

Drawing from her background in Artificial Intelligence and her Mediterranean roots, I-RO employs a blend of technological influence and her intrinsic sensitivity to the ethnic-sonic waves of her heritage. The rhythmic galloping of horses, echoing from her family's equestrian legacy, also permeates her sound, adding a powerful, majestic quality.

What a sweaty night that was.
Took me a bit to get into it but once I was in the zone, everything flowed. That soundsystem and acoustic really gives you headroom to experiment and blend stuff together. Zuper fun! Good headphones recommended.

Paris born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Human Experiments delivers hypnotic, genre-bending techno with cinematic flair. Forged in 2015's Parisian warehouses and Berlin kinky Stimulation parties since 2020, the project melds orchestral textures and industrial grit with stripped-back, cerebral grooves.

Expect deep, Dub techno-inducing soundscapes infused with tribal rhythms and machine-like precision. Human Experiments crafts immersive sonic rituals that keep dancers locked in a state of heightened awareness.

While rooted in techno's minimalist ethos, the selections traverse a fluid spectrum of electronic styles. From ambient interludes to pummeling peak-time fare, this sonic alchemist defies easy categorization, constantly pushing boundaries to create transcendent dancefloor experiences.

For the 40th edition of the Fast Forward Audio Series we present to you - NEWA

Coming from the jazz scene (and being a classically trained musician) Ana Kublashvili chose the artist name Newa when she progressed into the electronic music field. Newa started out as a DJ in 2012 in her hometown of Tbilisi, Georgia, quickly making a name for herself around in the city’s famous nightlife spots. She is a regular at the world-renowned Bassiani venue, a space that has given her a foundation to establish her skills on an international scale. Newa is also a recurring favourite at Ben Klock’s touring event-series Photon.

When it comes to Newa’s own productions it is a direct transition from her sound as a DJ; she represents a nuanced artist, building her musical presence on technical skill and honest feelings. Her authenticity extends into the studio. What you discover when listening to her work is a producer who expertly manages to measure all elements; deep bass lines and sunken melodies coexist in harmony. Whether the end result is techno or an experimental ambient piece, she manages to create music resonating with depth and reflection. Subspiele Records debuted Newa’s first own productions in 2012, since then she has gone on to release records on fine labels such as Klockworks, Semantica and the Bassiani in-house label. Since 2016 she also co-runs the diverse Icontrax imprint; here the focus lies on presenting undiscovered local talent from the flourishing Georgian techno scene.

This means ‘Powerful Culture’ in Sranan Tongo which is the native Surinamese language. This title says everything about my approach to this mix, as i've recorded it with a closing state of mind. I truly believe that even when playing a bit more direct and faster the essential of groove and rhythm should always be the key element and should never fade away for the sake of just banging out hard tracks. This mix is recorded at 144-146 BPM which is the fastest i’ve played in my podcasts so far. Dedicated to all the people that has supported me heavy throughout this year. You are all being heard and i appreciate all of you guys.

Anthem 002 - Oktobr @oktobertechno

The Oktobr project was born with the aim of communicating a vision, an emotion.

After years of experimenting with the craziest and most libertarian parties in Paris, the sound of Oktobr is gradually being forged and the perception of its sound identity is becoming clearer.

It was when the decision was made to move to Berlin that this concept would blossom, with the most eclectic and intense acts that the German capital can offer.

His DJ sets are blended with a mix of minimalist sounds with threatening grooves, warm rhythms and lively percussion, with the will to provide a real physical experience to the audience.

In 2018, with two friends, he founded the label Autonome Records to promote the sound of his creators, as well as their vision of the techno movement through other artists and friends.

Canticle Records is a techno label which aims to transmit its vision and musical culture through hypnotic and groove productions.

Founded & Owned by @assumption00, Canticle will bring another vision of electronic music through releases by artists we support.
