ABS8LUTE is a French music activist and passionate digger. 

As a groove lover, she enjoys driving her public into exciting techno storms with hypnotic atmospheres and percussive sounds. 

Outside of the DJ booth, she works for a better representation of women and POC in the industry by writing for music medias like Mixmag France, by animating talks and debates on inclusion for the Paris Electronic Week, and by creating the Vénus Club, a collective of women DJs that recently took by surprise the French electronic scene. 

Her unique take on rhythm led her to be on the same line up as DJ Stingray, DJ Tool, Mary Lake, Electric Rescue, ASEC and Hendrik van Boetzelaer, at Tresor with Laura BCR and several times at Berghain for the famous Klubnacht.

BASEMENT introduces BASEMENT Archives, a new podcast series highlighting standout sets recorded live in the club. 

First up is the impromptu b2b2b2b from Fadi Mohem, Kancheli, NDRX and Philippa Pacho that closed out last April’s Bassiani takeover. If you were there, you know how special this night was. Ten minutes before we planned to wrap the night, it was decided that the music simply could not stop. The four artists took over the booth in BASEMENT, and what resulted was 3 hours of euphoric techno that sent everyone out on an incredible high. These are moments that can’t be planned, curated or recreated. When they happen, you pray the recorder is on and running. Thank god it was.

Over the course of the years, he became a critical figure of the Orphic rave organisation, curating events and fostering a close-tied community at the forefront of the city's underground movement. Both as an artist and a personality, he has been captivating dancers, bookers, and music professionals across both established and new generations. Moved by curiosity and vigour, Thoms Traxx is an ever-evolving force that can’t be missed out on.

A true driving force both within and beyond the South-American techno ecosystem, Zisko graces us with two hours of clinically laid down big-room punch and genre-unbound, off-kilter rhythms on steroid. Championing a sound both highly intense and surgically precise, the Argentinian DJ and producer has us surfing a rogue wave of frenzied analogue funk, sci-fi-informed industrial pound and proto-electroid impulsions. Not one for the faint-hearted, Zisko’s mix is galloping techno at its most eruptively driving and merciless, bound for heavy-duty, mid-set apexes and hi-impact mosh pits down the basement. A delicate split in the molecular tide, Equinox is where structures soften.

Jake Tidd sculpts four progressive studies in tension and release, tracing the subtle choreography of particles suspended mid-air. Like drifting ions in a field without gravity, each track orbits around its own magnetic core, pulsing, phasing, gently colliding.

At the centre, neutrons burn slow and dense, a compressed charge of rhythm and emotion folding inwards. The surrounding cuts ripple outward like energy dispersing across a vacuum, forming patterns too precise to be accidental, too fluid to be fixed.

There’s a sense of calibration here. Feel the way each groove is engineered to like a controlled experiment in trance induction, a molecular ritual for systems in flux.
